“I don't often post reviews for hotels because "they're all the same" but My Place stood out. The staff was friendly and seemed to actually enjoy interacting with us. I didn't feel rushed or like a burden. The room was nicer than expected for the price I paid. We were excited to find a kitchenette (with in-room ice maker) and even a recliner. My husband didn't want to leave!”

“Best breakfast ever and it was included in our wedding block rate. Fresh fruit, custom omelet bar, yogurt parfait bar. Really fabulous start for the day. The hotel is a renovated warehouse with a bo ho flair and attached game room/ bar with 28 self-serve taps sold by the ounce. The whole stay was one novel experience after another for us! 5 stars!Walkability: Short walk to classic American street with a variety of eateries. Chicago-style pizza, Thai, Mexican Fusion, Chinese, ice cream.”
“We frequently stay at this property due to its convenient location, amenities, friendly staff and the ability to have our small dog stay with us occasionally. On this particular occasion, Ally was a new concierge at the front desk upon our arrival. Not only was she welcoming but she was over and above in terms of immediately and seamlessly addressing several of our special requests. I was simply blown away by the level of 5-star service offered, which was even more comfort and relief since we were embarking on an out-of-state trip with our family the next day.
One specific issue we had to deal with on the trip was arranging for a cab ride to the airport the next morning at 3:45 AM. We were unsuccessful in reserving a local taxi so Ally arranged for her supervisor, Justin, to personally drive us to the airport the following morning. It was exceptional service that will guarantee my business for the future.
Ally offered a level of exemplary service that not only exceeded my expectations, but also created a sense of comfort, reassurance, and security that eased my mind, all with the friendliest demeanor and candor I have experienced in my 40 years of traveling. I cannot give Ally, Justin, and the Stoney Creek Moline a higher rating or recommendation!!”

“We had the best time! The rooms are clean and inviting, the staff was great! The restaurant was good and a nice little spa! We are not experienced gamblers and the staff in the casino was very helpful. Yeah it is not Las Vegas, but it is not meant to be Vegas. Was great for a quick trip!We will definitely be visiting this hidden gem in the future!”

“Went to a 100th birthday party at the J Bar. The food that was served was very good. It was well attended by family and friends. Very nice area for get togethers. We did not stay there, so I can't say anything about the rooms. It is located in the area of stores to either walk or drive to.”
“Overall, very good hotel. Breakfast was great (loved the yogurt dispenser!), room was clean. The water pressure was noticeably low, but still did the job and some areas had a musty smell - not bad things per se but could be improved. Great value for the price.”

“Owners Awesome!! Nice clean quite Motel. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Beds are soft and comfortable with plenty of pillows. TV works. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Iron with ironing board provided. Hey provide breakfast too. I'd stay here agin. Also you can pay the incident fee with cash ?.”

“The hotel is under renovation, so my experience was that of a work in progress. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, or as much as they could be. They sure did try hard. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. My one gripe is that the water is white. I promise I'm not joking. The tap water is white. I don't know what caused that or why it never cleared, but it's off-putting. Almost makes the prices of bottled water in the lobby seem reasonable. Overall a nice place, but bring something to drink.”

“GREAT value stay at a nice property with amenities motels don’t typically offer. ?Fast WiFi, ??♀️ gym with treadmill and cable machine, ☕️drinkable coffee & ? solid breakfast (waffles & Nutella, muffins, yogurt & granola, oatmeal with walnuts, chocolate chips, cinnamon etc.), water vending machine open 24/7 in the lobby, great lobby store for snacks & alcohol (see photos), ? large laundry room,?pool. Parking right out front, well lit area, feels very safe.
$15 pet fee (totally reasonable, given how nice this place is).
⚠️ It’s 4 stars because there is carpet in the rooms + a cloth armchair (we don’t like either because 1) they allow pets and 2) increases risk of bedbugs).
Safety: Well lit parking lot and many security cameras. Felt very safe here.”

“This place does need some landscaping done but aside from that the front desk staff are professional and have great customer service skills. With getting a new GM this placed has improved immensely. The rooms are very clean and each room is inspected before any guest is allowed in. It's quiet and that allows for perfect work virtual appointments to be held in the lobby. They re working hard to make this place a remarkable place to stay! Keep up the hard work!”
“Working for security at MVF and didn't have online reservation customer service take care of us and work this through it it was very pleasant to be taken care of like that that late at night after working the Mississippi Valley Fair and security very warm cozy atmosphere rooms were lovely showers were hot.”
