It was from start to finish an amazing experience.25 years later I found myself returning to Zavius..I was turning 50 and wanted to take 2 rings & have Luis work his magic and make them in to one! His love & talent created me a ring that is more beautiful than I could ever have imagined.After being blessed with that piece, my fiancé decided to have Luis recreate my engagement ring. All he asked him was to create something that would not only be unique but as beautiful as I was. Once again, the master jeweler worked his magic & created yet another piece of perfection!! “BEYOND impressed with the customer service of Christopher's. I brought in a Rado watch that another large jewelry store in Janesville refused to touch because of "liability" (i.e.laziness). Not only did the female tech at Christopher's replace the battery in minutes, she also replaced the batteries in three other watches I brought with. She was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Additionally, Christopher (owner) also came out to make sure we were being helped, to ask if we had any questions, and to ensure our satisfaction. He is an absolute class act and exemplifies integrity and customer service/satisfaction. I give him ten stars out of five and definitely recommend him to others!!”

“Recently had to have my wedding ring repaired (purchased at another store) because one of my stones broke and fell out, the staff was very knowledgeable and they do their own repairs on site. I wasn’t a fan of sending my ring out for repair like other stores do. They did amazing work! I got my ring back and it was so shining and like new! Unfortunately, they had to break my remaining stone so they could replace it, after enquiring about the stone, Mr Clodius, sensed my disappointment that the stone had to be broken to remove it and offered to replace it for me. It may not be the same one from my original ring, but I will still be able to make a beautiful pendant for my daughter. Thank you so much Clodius & Co you really went above and beyond. Please know I appreciate your kindness!”

“I had no idea Rockford had such a nice western wear shop right downtown! When I first walked in the door I was blown away because I thought it would be very small. It is deceptive from the outside. They have tons of shirts, boots and hats. I saw some fancy belt buckles and even a couple very nice saddles for your giddyup! I ended up buying two cowboy hats and only needed one. Lol! It is good to help out our local business owners. Check them out!”

“I had been told by another jeweler in McHenry IL, last year, the battery in my watch couldn't be replaced. I stopped at one of their competitors who sold Citizen Watches in Rockford, in the Cherry Vale Mall, but they didn't know how to repair the battery either. They told me to go around the corner to JLK Jeweler kiosk, "he can do everything " . JLK can. Give them your business!!!!”

“I recently bought a new band for an older watch my wife has, the staff was super helpful and very nice. I decided to bring my watch in for a battery change a few months later, needless to say they again were friendly and helpful. When I went to pay they found out that I was in the military (I’m guessing it’s because the engravings on my watch) and didn’t charge me! I was caught off guard but super appreciative. I’m writing this review to say thank you to them, and to recommend their business to anyone looking to maintain their watch or jewelry, or to buy something new. I know that I will drive out of my way to give them my business and my next watch purchase will definitely be through them.”

“After reading the reviews I will have to say our experience was much different.. Me and my wife have been coming to this place for for at least 5 years. Yesterday being the most recent 7/23/22. We have only bought an a few gold pendants, a necklace, And have had several watch batteries replaced. I have always had our gold and jewelry cleaned here as well as repaired when stones came loose or gold needed repaired. Hands down the the best in my book. And very honest.. We like our work done on the spot so we can watch and wait, he accommodates well.. I'm not a big fan of his prices as far as his big pieces but everyone's got to make a dollar and that's not gonna detour me from doing other purchases from him. I guess I would say they are fair prices I'm just looking for the pawn price haha... Me and my wife are JEWELRY NUTS! we love jewelry!! On our most recent visit that we had, jewelry repaired then he cleaned. I just had all my jewelry cleaned the day before at kay jewelers... Hands down you can see the difference from Providence... Way better!”
