Rudest and worst customer service I had ever received. Did not have a car available but let me book one. Then when I get here they have you wait even though they know they don't have a car. They also lie and say they tried to leave you a message when they didn't and they are smug about it. Disgusting. Do not recommend.

After significant delays due to weather and the airline, National at Rockford International made it all better. After letting them know we were delayed, they ensured that they would be waiting for us and have a car ready. Ryan and his team went above and beyond to provide exceptional service and a great experience. They even personally called me after the rental to make sure I didn't have any issues. National, you have an outstanding team at this airport! Keep up the great work!

Remarkable customer service - always friendly in Rockford, IL. Car was gassed up and ready to go. 200 miles on the Chevrolet Malibu (upgraded size from my reservation). I would recommend National Car Rental to anybody.

I booked my rental to be picked up at the Rockford Airport. The location closes at noon on Saturday so I showed up at 10:35 for pick up. The only problem is that there was no one here. As it turns out the person that is supposed to be manning the counter was out picking up cars because there weren't any for rental. I was told I'd have to wait upwards of an hour to get a car. How do you run out cars? How can a reservation be allowed if you're out of cars? Isn't that why its called a reservation....to have a car RESERVED?? I understand people don't always return on time but that should be anticipated if your business is renting cars....especially when you have customers that ALREADY made a reservation. I am not special nor am I expecting special treatment but my time does matter and this is a needless waste of my time.

Easy to rent and return! Didn't have the size we reserved but offered us a larger one on arrival- which was great! Beautiful car with all the bells and whistles! Fantastic experience!

My only complaint is that the rental counter at the Rockford Il. airport doesn't open till 8:00 am. Our flight arrived at 5:00 and we had to wait 3 hours to get our vehicle.

I travel a lot and I almost get a rental car every time I fly out this place was fantastic Stephanie and John are just excellent never got service like this in the last 20 years from any car rental agency

Hey National! How about not taking reservations and then telling people when they show up to rent that you're it open? Got off flight from Mesa to Rockford only to find that the National desk was not open and there was no one servicing them. Then how do you take that reservation! F****** idiots

I rented with national a lot. They have horrible service and are a horrible company. They have no service. They didn't even have the car I reserved and did nothing to fix it.

Excellent service. Friendly customer service. It was nothing a breeze to work with this company, associates were around late and helped me out, as well as a woman who was double booked by Avis.

I regularly and exclusively rent with National. Their Emerald Aisle is a wonderful thing to have access to. However, this particular airport does not have an Emerald Aisle and you're required to wait in line to speak to a representative and get your keys. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the wait was roughly 80 minutes, which led to me being late to an important appointment. The rep did offer to have my gas covered, but I would have much preferred to pay the $20 in fuel and keep my appointment. Others in line were not so lucky, as they apparently ran out of cars to give and were forced to give vehicles to the Executive level members like myself, creating an extremely awkward situation for all involved. This was Friday Sept 1st. Again, most National locations I've seen are great, but this was an unfortunate exception.
