Nicholson Hardware is a good old-fashioned, family-owned hardware store and the best in the area. It is not a lumber yard or a big box store. The place has a little bit of everything and lots of stuff that other places don't, including great high-end tools, metrology equipment, and well-made American company items. Everything is easy to find. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with a smile, offering great experience. They provide services like cutting keys cheaply. It is the "go to" place, especially for owners of old homes, and is what a hardware store should be.
Had a spare key made here, very quick service. I was actually shocked by how inexpensive the key was as well, I was definitely prepared to pay more.

I probably waste too much of their time gabbing, but Paul doesn't bug me about it too much. Hahaha. Classic generous and knowledgeable American hardware store. I dont know what I'd do without them
