I am very disappointed in 24PetWatch. I have been a client of theirs for over 20 years and referred many friends to them. My current pet is now a senior. The policy we had no longer exists and the premium increased due to her age and was over the plan maximum. No one at PetWatch notified me of this and then I could not increase her plan maximum because she is over 11 years old. So i am forced to find another insurer and she is now a senior dog. Nice way to treat your senior clients! I wonder if others have experienced the same?? I am quite disgusted in them to be honest, so people be careful as your pet ages and make sure they can continue to be covered. My pug has been very healthy but now faces a bit of arthritis which will not be covered under a new plan or any other prior ailments which have thankfully been only one. But I was screwed over, period! Now we are stuck with no insurance and having to find someone who will take on a senior.

I had to leave a review after seeing all the negative ones. I have been with 24petchwatch for 9 years with my cat, thankfully I haven’t had to put in many claims, but recently had to put in a rather large claim, and I have to say I am impressed with how quickly I was reimbursed. Within a week of putting in the claim it was approved and paid out. Yes, you have to go through some extra steps and make sure your vet properly fills out the form, but that is so that ppl don’t run any scams.

Pretty much a scam. Have fun paying 100$ a month and getting pennies back when you make a claim. I had 700$ left in my policy when we put my dog down. It cost $800 for euthanasia and cremation and these scammers only gave me 200$ back lol.
Nothing but headaches with these guys for the last 12 years. They make it more difficult than it has to be with their online portal where you upload documents. It's called an app its 2024 get with the times.

Would give zero stars if I could! You are able to transfer the pet ownership without notifying or having any information on the dog, if your dog gets lost you have to pay for a subscription to release your information to a vet for reunification! They try to force you to have a membership for the microchip with false promises. You get sent to a foreign desk and the lady will drill you for money until you hang up! Total scam!!!

This whole site is trash. They want you to buy a membership even though I already paid to have my dog chipped. The website doesn’t work on mobile, you can’t click on the box to enter your email. Then, I finally get on my desktop to add my new puppy. I can’t register her because the site says she’s already registered! How is she already registered, she’s not even microchipped yet!!!!! Complete crap, I hate that I’m being forced to use this site.

After I politely listened to their sales pitch and chose to use the free email service, I was immediately hung up on.
Real class company.

Impossible to cancel, no billing reminders, not even a billing section on your account in order to see past payments. The website is janky, bugs galore. They send plenty of marketing communication so they can send emails they choose to not send any notifications that are actually important to you as a customer because they know how poor their service is and that you would be likely to cancel before they can take out the next payment if they did notify you. Feels predatory. 0/10 Could not recommend less.

Beware they border on being a scam. I have had their insurance on my dog for two years. He is a shelter dog. Recovered from the humane society. I take him to the vet for a limp and it turns out he also has a urinary track infection. they do test etc and send me home with antibiotics. I submit they invoice and they say as they probably always say "We need all of his medical records from his first vet visit". Well what I have are extensive records from the shelter. This is a complete examination from head to toe from a doctor of veterinary medicine. They don't accept that because I guess he is a mature dog so there must be more. Well there isn't. HE IS A SHELTER DOG. Nobody knows who owned him before or what happened in his life. They deny the claim because they feel that they don't have all of his records. Beware if you have a shelter dog. They don't tell you ahead of time that they wont cover that. Total scam. Worthless. Now I have to try to get my money back. Thousands of dollars in premiums at this point.

I have been a customer for 9 years for my dog my rates just went from $186 a month to $334 a month when I called they told me they have paid a lot of claims to people this year so they need to get there money back. This should be criminal how do you almost double my rates when I’ve paid for so long ( they said you can always cancel)thanks for being a pet friendly business

This company bought my cat's old chip number from a shelter and started sending me spam emails. I told 24 PetWatch I wasn't interested, but they've just emailed me another marketing pitch for a cat who died in 2021. Ghouls.

After adopting my cat from a rescue I called 24PetWatch to update the information on the microchip. I had tried to do it online but it kept giving me an error message. The customer service agent was incredibly unprofessional and rude, tried to lie to me that I needed to pay to change the information (you don't need to purchase anything, ask for the basic free option), and then tried to guilt trip me when I didn't want to purchase anything: "If you don't update the info, what if your pet gets lost today?" Shame on 24PetWatch for accepting this level of scummy sales tactics from their agents.
