The woman who initially helped me when I dropped off my rings was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name, but she made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the entire experience.
Liz was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain exactly what to expect during the appraisal, walked me through the insurance process, and reviewed both the insurance policy process and the in-house care plans they offer. She was incredibly friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She made what could have been an overwhelming decision feel easy and gave me complete peace of mind.
While I was there, my sister and I also looked at necklaces. Lizzie and Alyssa were both so patient, helpful, and fun to work with. They helped my sister narrow down the details for a customized necklace, helped me pick out a few pieces, and made the entire experience enjoyable.
Everyone on the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. Their jewelry is absolutely stunning, the quality is exceptional, and the pricing is very fair. It’s easy to see why they have such a great reputation.

“I was told that if I wrote a review, I’d receive a pair of earrings. I was initially happy to do it, but then I overheard what sounded like the owner on the phone rudely asking, “is that woman still standing?” while Ramya responded, “yes, yes, she is buying,” and I felt like I was being watched on camera. That made me uncomfortable, so I declined the earrings and even considered deleting this review.
I also didn’t appreciate the $25 fee just to try on a dress if you don’t end up purchasing it. I had every intention of buying, but that policy almost made me walk away. Since I was only visiting Chicago for a few hours and had already taken an Uber to get there, I ended up making a purchase anyway and paid $430, even though I didn’t really have the time to keep looking around. The fee of 25$ for trying on a dress was anything I have ever heard like .the owner asking rudely on phone .
That said, Ramya herself was very kind and sweet, and I appreciated her attitude. However, because of the overall experience, I don’t think I’ll return or recommend this place to my friends.”

Flawless Diamonds is the exception: there's a clear reason why they have been so reputable for so many years. I wanted to gift my girlfriend a diamond tennis chain necklace for Christmas and Nick, the owner, made it personal. Without making me feel uneducated about diamonds, he confidently and calmly showed me what the necklace would be made of: white gold and the best lab grown diamonds I’ve ever seen… and I have been around the block. Good things take time, the custom tennis necklace he made me was not a 12 hour turnaround… but he made sure I had it for her birthday! He figured out exactly what I would want and he performed!!

“Did not purchase here but purchased a diamond privately with another dealer. I was initially nervous about it matching what the paperwork said it was. I had called another jewelry store before I called MCJ and they had told me to verify it for me, it would be $100 and they’d have to keep it for a week. I called MCJ because I needed it verified as soon as possible, as we were out of state buyers. Craig was so helpful and knowledgeable, we walked right in, he verified our diamond with its serial number and paperwork and truly saved our day.
