“So I went to Jasper Meats on Saturday for a special #6? But we didn't realize you have to pre order for sure looking forward to going back to complete our purchase.update as of 9/14/23 - we did get the package deal (pre order is needed) and it looks so good, I cannot wait to taste it out but trying to divest the fridge of leftovers at the moment. Well packed, in a box about 24" wide, 6" thick and about 18" in depth, it will travel well. frozen-ish, sauce too. I put the sauce in the fridge to soft thaw.Everything is vacuum sealed so if kept frozen or in the fridge it should last a good while. By my dads clock, at least 10-15 years LOL.Steaks look nice and marbled. Pork roast and ribs and I think chicken (memory) all look very good, I cannot wait.We also picked up a package or two of Canadian Bacon which I intend to grill up, possibly this morning, hungry. Not sure I will slice it up or grill it as a piece....thinking a piece and then cut up into chunks-ish size. leaning heavily on the grill the whole thing side. Maybe a snack this morning with some toasty bread......mmmmm beer could be a good addition, in the afternoon hours.”

“Place is OK. 2 slot inside dock can get even tighter if the first guy goes in a little cockeyed. Works more along the lines of first come first served. Don't get there too early because they will still be loading their own trucks and you'll just be wasting your time. Guys there are easy enough to work with. If it wasn't for the tight inside dock they would get 5 stars.”

“My wife decided that we would use the Kababs that her dad would get for special occasions during a family meal. We drove out to prospect heights from Antioch and got 4 each of the beef and chicken kababs. They were VERY pleasant and helpful. Lovely folks. The kababs were the BOMB! I grilled them per the instructions given by the people at ascot and they were tender and delicious. Definitely will visit again. Highly recommended.”

“We had a Pig roast for Grama's 90th Birthday- planned to invite approx. 75 guests. When we originally booked the date we were told that Haybeck's would handle EVERYTHING- They were ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! They did all the decorating - fresh flowers & tablecloths, prepared all the side dishes - red potatoes, vegetables, huge fruit salad and the best pork we have ever eaten. Everyone raved about the food! The Chef, Bartender and 2 servers were all dressed very professional and were SUPER NICE! They cleaned up everything when they were done / my kitchen was spotless! I actually got to enjoy the party! I would give them 10 STARS if I could- they are AWESOME!!!! Worth every penny! The Anstedt's Hawthorn Woods, IL.”

“Amazing authentic Mexican food. I spent a lot of time in my early years in Texas. When we moved to midwest, we couldn’t find any authentic Mexican food. Get the rojo pork tamales, either at the hot food section or the cold food in the fridge. They taste like homemade with perfect spiciness. Love it! Even the tamales served at the nearby Mexican restaurant, close to Jimenez couldn’t make delicious juicy and spicy tamales. I ordered Quisado Puerco at the taqueria, simply delicious and comforting. Huge portion, you can have 3 servings out of this giant portion. I’m still in disbelief that authentic Mexican food can be found here in the grocery store taqueria. A pack of 6 hot tamales at the hot food section is $7.99 and the same exact 6 cold tamales at the fridge section is $6.99. The tamales were so juicy and full of meat. Couldn’t be happier to find this hidden gem.”
