“This goodwill is another one of my favorites I don’t leave empty handed from. I can find anything and everything at goodwill and I was expecting higher prices due to the area…but there actually good! Some of the shelves in the housewares can be cleaned…but the store itself is well organized. Staff is very friendly and helpful.”

“By far the best thrift store I've ever been to. Crazy selection, crazy turnover rate, and good deals. The guy is fair and will negotiate with you on pricing without beating you up.I would recommend at least stopping in once so you can see what I'm talking about.”

“Absolutely had potential. If you’re looking for clothes maybe not, but furniture and housewares definitely! Things are very fairly priced and in good condition.”

“The Nicest people ever run this resale shop. Obviously since it’s resale, stock changed frequently. I Just attended their ribbon cutting at their new location and it’s fantastic! So easy to get to, a much easier space to shop in and they have more storage and sorting area, too. Please bring all your gently used goods to LRC!”

“Went to this Goodwill store first time on Friday with my daughter and we loved it. Employees were friendly could be a little more proactive (training 101) but my sales rep was awesome and she offered me a rewards card to use for future items. It was nice to see that 'Everything had a place, and a Place for everything' nothing on the floors. However, I do suggest they keep a close eye on some of the clothing on the racks that have threadingloose some were torn seems like from hangers or mishandled from customers and those items should be removed. It is good to see that you show the quality and care for what you display and sale in your store because, it's the first and last impression of the day that can make an impact on your customers. I visit this store again.”

“Nice selection of used furniture. This is the best place for untouched used furniture. Great place for finding opportunities to reuse/re-purpose household items.”

“We went on Friday 11/10/23 at 2:15PM. The store was quite crowded and difficult to navigate the isle with a shopping cart. Some display shelves were very messy. Maybe due to the crowd of people. It's usually better organized.”

“Friendly people reasonable prices and very clean storeI went this morning and today’s offer was “roll the dice” and whatever number you get that was the discount they give you.! Fantastic”

“I love being able to drop my unwanted items here and drive away knowing someone else will get better use out of it. Better than the stuff being in the landfills.”

“Large donation center, well organized. Plenty of parking, Handicapped accessible entry. Most items reasonably priced, but a few were overpriced. Large assortment of goods for perusal and purchase. Enough cashiers ready at checkout. Restrooms clean and available for patrons. I would shop here again.”

“Stopped by while in town from Cincinnati. Not the worst place but certainly not the best. Your typical Goodwill. Lots of clothes, organized by size and clean. No bins to dig through so that’s a huge plus on my end! Clean place”

“Decided to come here on the way home from JJC once. Was greeted by the lovely sound of Celine Dion music on the boombox on my first visit. Their music CD section seemed to have everything, an even better selection than I could ever find at Goodwill. The lady who helped me at checkout was very nice and I had a positive first experience here. Will return at every possible opportunity.”

“Every experience there is Christmastime. Goodies galore, which for me are books, CDs, DVDs. Purchased a Bears cap in new condition, sans a wee bit of dust. Lots of clothing, and nicknacks to tickle the funny bone in you.”

“I’ve frequented the Crest Hill store on many occasions, to both sell and shop. I was actually very impressed with the quality of items and how well the store is organized and arranged. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful, offering any assistance and helping me load and unload my car when needed. I understand how the buying process works and have always been satisfied with the $$ received on my items. It’s easy and quick cash so it beats just giving it away or going through the agony of a garage sale. I appreciate that they truly take the time and effort to diligently look up every item to make sure they are offering you a fair price while keeping the item at a cost where they can still turn around and sell it at a large discount back to the public. The owners Dave & Tina take great pride in their stores and it shows with their commitment to providing the best customer service and quality of items. I will definitely continue shopping and selling to New Uses!”

“Alert to treasure Hunters of vintage toys and other easy to see vintage items. The Salvation Army has people that spot these things that work in there and anything that is for example like a older vintage Star Wars Transformers GI Joe they will put it off to their website and sell it online where there is bidding that takes place. So good luck you will not find for the chance to be finding something very popular and old is very slim. Other than that I think this place is really nice for finding your average deals and finding some cool clothes at a good price or other items such as electronics.”
