“We were at the pet store next door and decided to stop in for a treat. Even though Consuela was helping another customer when we arrived, she immediately greeted us and made us feel welcome. The store has maintained the same charming aesthetic for decades while staying up to date with thoughtful improvements, such as flat-screen TVs showing the candy-making process. We enjoyed browsing the selection and taking our time deciding what to purchase. Consuela was an absolute joy. She was friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about both the products and the customers she serves. She offered samples of some popular items and even invited us to try anything we were curious about. She was knowledgeable about the chocolates and the company's rich Chicagoland history, and she also pointed out a special on their 1-pound box, which ended up being our choice. While this is not a store we visit regularly, it will definitely be on our list when we're looking for a special gift. Great products and outstanding customer service.”

“We took a trip to ABT Electronics today for a new watch and ended up having the best time. Everything is so wheelchair-friendly, which made it easy for my son to get around. The candy section was spotless workers scoop it for you, and so many of the treats brought back childhood memories. My husband had a lovely chat with a young lady in a scarf, Saharah, who was so sweet with our kids and didn’t try to oversell. Loved the chocolates, loved the service. We’ll definitely be back just wish they had some Swedish candies!”
