“I have been going here for about a year for Magic the Gathering pre-release events. It is a very clean and organized store. The events are always run well and the staff is incredibly friendly. Fantastic store!”
“I have been here many time and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The store also has a wide variety of items. If you love LEGOS and LEGO's on display, I will highly recommend going!”
“Costa and Matthew are always so knowledgeable and helpful! This is the only coin shop ive been to that I feel like I'm getting an honest fair deal and always learn something new every time I stop in.”
“I'm a plastic airplane builder and collector and like to check out any shop that has aircraft kits. While Ron's Mundelein Hobbies doesn't have a huge inventory of plastic kits there's a full 4x8 section of aircraft that did not disappoint!
It's not too hard to find a Tamiya 1/32 Spit... But it is hard to find one at a reasonable price! I couldn't pass up the chance to finally buy one.
There are several out of production Accurate Miniatures (B-25) and Eduard (Spit Mk.VIII and Mk.IX) kits there... and a Monogram 1/48 B-58! (As of 05/07/2026)
There is another section of armor and vehicles, several nice ships, and a sci-fi section I'll need to check out next time.”
“This may be the only place left in Lake county that you can actually touch sewing machines, Surgers, embroidery machines old and new. They have a large selection materials and other sewing needs.”
“Went in for first time on a whim looking for very specific vintage comics, and Charlie came through for me! Got all the ROM: Spaceknight I was looking for, and was also able to cross a bunch of MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE off my buylist. Charlie is very friendly and knowledgeable, has great taste in music, and made great business cards. A treat to have visited!!!”
“I have purchased many sets from the store. The owner always looks happy and there's always cool events going on! My girlfriend never was interested and with the free mini he gave me on my first purchase and with the free minis of the month that I have aquired she now paints them and has fun doing so!”
“Alex was so amazingly helpful! She went above and beyond. The website showed fabric they had not rolled out yet at the store. I was about to order it online from another store when she ran up to stop me saying they just got a pallet in and the one I want was on top. She ran to the back and grabbed it and cut it for me. Thank you Alex! ❤”
“I was trying to complete a framing job for an inexpensive cost. Having no idea what I was doing I asked for help from 2 different associates both were very accommodating. I still needed more help, that is when NINA from framing offered her help. Not only did NINA get us across the finish line, but went above and beyond to assure we were good to go. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELP NINA, I HOPE YOU GET A PROMOTION, YOU DESERVE IT!!!!”
“I frequent this location and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with all of the staff that works there! Cool selection of things and everything is reasonably priced 🙌”
“My family and I went to buy some loose Pokemon cards that my sons were interested in. The cards that they wanted were very random and consisted of Pokemon using all different energies as well as Trainers. The owner Jester was there and he was extremely helpful, helping us find over 30 of the cards that they were looking through by going through binders and loose cards in a box, which was extremely tedious. We've been to many Gamers Worlds where the employees running the store seem like they couldn't care less about their customers. We were fortunate to have the exact opposite experience here and want to thank Jester so much for his kindness and patience!”

“Employees very helpful and friendly. Went there to purchase 3D filament. Prices are reasonable. Not a huge variety (colors and types), but they sell them. Parking available. Can't say enough, able to find the product(s), reasonable prices, staff professional and courteous. Keep up the great job!”
