“If you need your auto A/C worked on I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Fitz’z at 9625 S Broadway. NOT FITZ’s like the Root beer. Some of the friendliest, professional, and knowledgeable people you are going to meet. Saint Louis Summer without decent air in the car is heading for disaster. I took my car in today for a possible recharge but the tech decided he wanted to take it for a test drive to see for himself what is going on. Who does that anymore???!!! He had his information and went to work. After a little while I was done. I KNOW he told me what was accomplished, but it’s ALL Greek to me. He then told me there was a different charge than what he quoted me. I thought to myself AHA!!! Just like all these companies out to get your hard earned money. He said it was LESS than what he quoted me. WHHHAT!!!! It wasn’t $1 or $2 less but around $25. WHEN does this EVER happen? Besides the accolades I gave them, add HONESTY to the list!!! They could have charged me the quote he gave me and I would have been none the wiser. If I ever need my A/C worked on again I will think of these guys first. A SOLID 10 out of 10. They also work on automobiles that have been stolen.”

“Honea Auto Body was recommended by friends at Washington University when I requested the need for help. I later found out that they are often the body shop patents recommend from WashU.
My son got a quote from owner Ken who was professional. The quote was difficult for my son to receive with paying half since we are cash pay.
I called Ken to discuss the estimate and he was able to make a few tweaks that lowered the price and improved the part to an OEM. WOW! Not expected. I scheduled the repairs.
Since I live out of town I arranged for a time I was visiting. My son dropped off and repairs were completed under the estimated three days. But a snag in the lights caused a delay. It was not there problem. They went well beyond to fix the issue and eventually did with only a small delay. Ken bent over backwards to ensure it was working correctly.
Delivery of the car was easy. Ken explained the process he used to repair the car showing us the old bumper. He also explained the difficulty with the electrical that was resolved with great pain and add cost he did not transfer to us. Double WOW!!! The cost came in even a bit less than the revised quote some how,
The shop may not look like much from the front, but it's quite large. It once was a building used to perform maintenance on city buses.
Let's be clear on typical body shops, they can take advantage of you. Dealers charge premium on labor. I'm so impressed with Honea and have already recommended them to others.”

“Some underage squat without a liscence wrecked my ride parked in front of my house not knowing how to drive. Not only did this place make my repair seemless...but they were highly communicative about all details and progress. They had a family like connection with Enterprise Rental who also bent backward to make things easy for me. I got my Subaru back more beautiful than I remember buying it. They detail cleaned my interior that had nothing to do with the damage and finished everything under projected finish. Serious FLAWLESS job. The staff are friendly and sweet and I am so grateful this is where I chose to turn my misfortune upside down. I may even put these cats on my Christmas gift list. Thank you so much!! “I got into a car accident back in August and insurance was set to pay for it. Unfortunately they are a busy shop so I wasn't able to get an appointment until October. Which was fine because drove around until my appointment. They quoted me 2 weeks and it was ready in that time.... they accidentally texted me that it be another week but they cleared that up quickly by explaining within minutes that it was a mistake. They are nice and update you constantly. My car looked STUNNING when I picked it up.... also bonus they cleaned the outside and inside of my car. It took some time BUT THIS PLACE IS A HUNDRED PERCENT WORTH IT!!! Will recommend them to everyone i meet. I usually hate autobody shops but this place blew me away!”

“Phenomenal work at a very competitive price. I got only my hood repainted as it was previously scuffed up bad from years of neglect and living under the hot Arizona sun, so don’t judge the rest of the front end in the photo. They only painted the hood per my request.

“These people seriously rock. My 2013 Buick’s side mirror had a run in with a pole and needed to be replaced. I called and got quoted by 2 other shops. Nearly 1k each quote. I called Eric at J&R and they got me fixed up for 300 bucks. They were extremely responsive and kind. They even tossed in a free headlight that had recently gone out with all of the winter storms. “We were traveling through St. Louis on vacation with our RV towing our Jeep when our Jeep blew an axle seal and destroyed the bearing. We stopped at Hillco Auto & Truck Repair to ask for help. Stan and Jim were empathetic with our situation and took the Jeep in immediately to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, due to the damage from the imploded bearing and the Jeep’s modifications (lift, long arms…) they did not feel that they had the resources to assist us. They made several phone calls to try to find assistance and when we found someone who could help, Hillco arranged for the Jeep to be towed. They refused to bill us for the time spent diagnosing and helping us. They just wished us well on our trip. This is the type of shop we all want to do business with. “Very pleased with my experience here. My Chevy Silverado was hit by an errant driver. The other driver's insurance provider suggested this place due to its location being close to my residence. When I brought it in, Charlie's CARSTAR performed an estimate and communicated with the insurance company. They were professional, very easy to deal with and low pressure. I decided to let them complete the repairs and scheduled a time to bring the truck in. The repair took a couple days longer than they estimated, but that was due to them finding additional repairs to the steering system once they started taking everything apart. They communicated with me the entire time, letting me know it might be a couple days late due to having to order and install the additional parts. When I picked the truck up, the repairs were complete and I was pleasantly surprised to find the truck had been cleaned up inside and out. Truthfully, you wouldn't know the vehicle had been involved in an accident at all. It drives perfectly and looks great. I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. Well done CARSTAR!”
