Savanna Military Surplus is a unique retail store located on Main Street in Savanna, Illinois, a few miles from Mississippi Palisades camping. It is a blast from the past with an eclectic and obscure inventory of military surplus gear and equipment. The shop offers a wide range of products including Army Navy Marine Air Force surplus, excellent clothing, boots, tactical gear, and camping supplies. They have lots of unique items and gifts like survival books, tools, knives, ammo cans, archery equipment, backpacks, bail out bags, hats, winter gear, hunting items, T-shirts, gloves, socks, and some antiques. They also sell Denix replica weapons and accessories. The selection is much better than most in the area, featuring some items not found anywhere else, both new and old. The owner and staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable, often going out of their way to assist customers. The store is highly recommended and a local favorite, with a history in the town for at least 40 years. It is a great place to stop when in the area or on vacation.
