Have rented from here multiple times now for work trips. They are located in the lobby of the hotel. It’s always quiet there and my transaction is usually very quick and easy!

When arrived at the location to pick up the car they were trying to charge another $200 deposit, saying it says about it on the website and on the email confirmation, and I opened the website and the email confirmation right in front of the guy from the front desk, and showed that isn't posted anywhere.. everyone should know it's illegal to charge something the customer wasn't notified about.. no wonder Avis locations are closing one by one.......

STAY AWAY!! This is the most pathetic center I have seen. I am a regular customer of Avis NJ.Came Schaumburg for person trip. Booked a car at this pathetic location.I reached there and they said they do not have any car except trucks. I was completely fine as they said this after I reached there.Then I saw, they are giving choices to other people from sedan and telling me to choose any truck.I confronted them and “Andy or AJ” named employee arrogantly said. This is what you can get. We have car but that is reserved for other people.I was so angry but kept my calm and asked why is that? She said it is what it is and when I asked there is no ruke to reserve a particular car for someone, even Avis guidelines states that.She said we do like this here, if you want to take then fine.Avis you ll loose customers if you have such rude and idiotic, racist people in your centers.I am gonna escalate this with my company. This centre is horrible, please stay away

Good place to rent, although the rep misquoted me for the loss damage waiver, it was actually more than twice as much. Honest mistake.Minus 1 star for the car itself. All 4 rims heavily damaged — it’s a rental so I understand that’s out of their control. If you’re not getting the LDW, make sure you point out the damage to the attendants otherwise you could be blamed for damage you didn’t cause.Car was not cleaned properly from the interior, seats and interior still have stains and mats not properly vacuumed.

We rented a car from this location in October. They gave us a DIRTY, DAMAGED vehicle. When I went back inside to tell them to come look at it before we left, the guy said "Oh, I already saw that. We put it on file when the last person returned it. You are good! Today, I got an insurance claim saying WE damaged the vehicle!!! We are beyond angry and of course, it is after hours so I can't even get anyone on the phone. Do NOT rent here!!!

F’n joke, hours are 9-1 Saturday, I show up at 11:40 and they’re on “break” until 12?? And then don’t even show up, no key drop, so I’m stuck with the car and inconvenience of having to come back. Last time renting here….

Vehicle was not clean at pick up. Maintenance notifications were not reset. I wasted a whole night of my vacation trying to get the vehicle swapped out.

I made a reservation for a 7 seater. The day of I called ahead to see if I can pick it up earlier and they told me the car is not there and they dont know when it will be there. The customer service in the counter and on the phone(corporate) was horrible and unhelpful. We eventually cancelled our reservation because it was 3 hours past and they still had no guarantee of when the car will be there. We were late to our event. Dont rent from here!

My wife was rented a car with a mounted spare tire (donut). It was returned the following day for a replacement vehicle. This is totally unacceptable. This is a safety issue. This should not have happened. Please bring this to the attention of those in your Hyatt Schaumburg (IL) facility.

Desk staff at pick up stayed late an accommodated a late pick up despite the office closing at 13:00. Absolute legend Abdul, Avis should be proud to have staff that go the extra mile.

Car was dirty and smoky. Mechanically in bad shape. Needed air in tires and needed a oil change. Should not be the renters responsibility. Nothing against AVIS, just Schaumburg AVIS.

I hate to do this, but I rented a car from this Avis/budget located inside the Hyatt Regency hotel, but before I start, I attempted to rent on Thursday June 9, 2022 and I was quickly dismissed because it was closing time. I said fine, I’ll be back the next day and so I did. Next day, June 10, 2022 I was informed to return the next day because they would get cars that were being returned since they sold out. So I returned on Saturday at around 9am, they told me they received cars that were dirty and if I was willing to accept a dirty car, I declined. I waited for a car to be “cleaned” and after repeated conversations with the clerk, finally I got a car. Now, it’s 12:53pm, 7 minutes left before closing. I was informed that the car was cleaned and so I rushed to get ready for my engagement. Now, it’s around 3pm in the afternoon and found the car with the windows rolled down and it was drizzling. Anyways, I inspected the car because it was odd. The car had dents on the drivers side, missing parts on the drivers door handle and the rear passenger window was painted with a permanent white marker. Not to mention the car was dirty on the outside. After I left, raised the windows and automatically started to smell marijuana in the car. The odor got stronger when I left the car for a few hours and returned. We had to lowered the windows on the way back to the hotel from downtown. Also, the clerk stated the car was full of gas and it wasn’t. I have pictures of everything.Furthermore, when I returned the vehicle, the clerk asked if I was pleased and I informed her that I was not. I explained everything above. She stated, that I should have said something. I Informed her that they closed at 1pm on Saturday. She said that they don’t normally don’t leave right away. However, she was the one that informed me days before to comeback the next day because she was closing. Afterwards, she informed me that she will advice her supervisor and that he will call me, however, that did not happen.I’m not pleased whatsoever! I don’t recommend this business. Bad business! There are other car rental that value customers and this is not one of them. I actually waited to file the review, but I never got a call.

This location was very rude. Car was nasty and needed some work. I booked for 1 time and had to wait an hour for the car to get so called clean. To my surprise the car had never been cleaned when I actually got the car an hour later. No accommodations were made and the service was horrible. Staff cared nothing about my experience. Will never rent for here again.

I would avoid this place at all costs. They did not have my car and they did not have cars for the other people in line. I arrived at 8 am. waited in line for a half hour and was told they would not have a car for me. Everyone in line was incredibly frustrated.

Sub-par services!! The rental had been booked over 2 weeks, yet there was not a single car without maintenance due, had to wait in nearby Firestone for 2 hrs. Not a favorable experience.
