I’ve worked with Bob a couple times now for some fittings and he is absolutely fantastic. I’m a newer golfer and his love and excitement for the game is infectious. Even as a fitter, he gets so excited when he sees you making progress with the clubs that I hit. He recommended some wedges for me that gave me 3-4 shots I never was able to get before. If you’re unsure where to start with a fitting and are just looking to have a good hour hitting some clubs (and maybe getting a tip or two), go see Bob.

I have worked with Kevin, Anthony, Tony they were all wonderful and were able to help me out with a replacement of a club at multiple occasions even without the receipt. Excellent customer service and hoping they get recognition for what they've done.

This is a great store (Schaumburg, IL) with excellent merchandise (albeit a little expensive) and nice facilities. The one thing I have experienced (and I have purchased several clubs, balls, gloves etc.) is inconsistent service and the feeling that the sales/support person may or may not be concerned with helping me. Some guys are great and seem invested in helping me with whatever concern I have...others not so much. During my career I have worked at companies that placed a high level of emphasis on Customer Service. These were successful companies. I have also worked at companies that did not and because of that weak approach to service, failed. PGA Superstore is big with deep pockets and therefore can survive with service weaknesses/inconsistencies. Small companies cannot and therefore, you are more likely to get better and more consistent service at a smaller company. Yesterday (3/21 in the mid-afternoon), I had picked up a Scotty Cameron putter (It was on the $149.99 putter rack) and I liked it. I went to the female cashier for a price and since it was marked as a demo, she said I could not purchase it (I was fine with that). The gentleman who was talking to her said he would check in the back for another SC putter (last year's model). I went back to practicing my putting thinking he would get back to me. He did not. So I went up to him and asked him if there were any SC putters left, he said no. Did he suggest another putter? No. Did he act like he wanted to work with me? No. Did he say he was sorry for not getting back to me? No. Pretty much a useless employee in my view (remember you are paying him to work for you). Conversely, earlier in the store, a gentleman helped me with getting set up in the practice bay, He was engaging and very helpful. Another thing, you need to fully understand is your demographic.... For the most part, educated, intelligent with high (discretionary) incomes who expect good service and not to be treated as a second-rate person by some hourly-paid worker bee. So here you go..... do with this review what you like and good luck! BTW - I walked out of the store with my old putter :(

Wanted to check the paradigm driver out. Need 11 degree loft. Employee told me that they only have 10.5. Told me Callaway didn't offer the 11 degree head.He could have used the 12 degree and adjusted it down 1. Didn't want to go through with the explanation.

Great experience when we went in, we worked with Bailey. He was awesome. He helped my son who is new to golf pick out a putter that was preowned and affordable. He also helped us put a new grip on it which fit better in his hands. Thanks Bailey you're a great help. It was nice to be able to try 20 different putters and practice with them in a relaxed setting with someone advising us.

For such a big store there's a poor selection of winter golf gloves (I'm writing in winter) and for lefty clubs. The staff seemed distracted and inattentive with no evident desire to assist. I was disappointed.

I have gone in a few times recently to get clubs re-shafted, new grips as well as a lie adjustment on a putter. The 3 times I went in, the staff was super friendly and helpful with the details.

I mean, first time ever making a visit to this store. I had a lot of optimism, going in to purchase myself a brand new driver. Too bad the golf world still does not supply clubs for lefties. There were over a dozen to 20 righty drivers of the model that I wanted. So after waiting around for about 20 minutes I finally spoke with someone and they help me order the club. So I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for it to arrive. Not only that I was in the market for a brand new putter and a putter section had maybe 5% of the entire putting area were lefties.... Absolutely horrendous choices so I left there with a piece of paper....

Went in to get a tour fitting for my driver with my grandpa, really appreciated how helpful the staff were. Specifically James, who was the main staff member to do the fitting. I really appreciate the great service!
