I can not tell you how many times I have shopped in their produce department, to find the majority having mold on it. Apples, garlic, onions, strawberries, lemons. I just don't understand how this has been possible. I now only go there for last minute emergencies, and for pre-packaged items only. Disgusting.

It's Jewel...nothing extra or special beyond that. If you've been to a Jewel before, you get the same at almost every one. It's a newer building so the layout is better than some of the old school locations.

Love this Jewel, and we do there all the time. Service is always good and the employees are friendly. Today, I went to get balloons and flowers for my daughters birthday, and no one was around to assist. It was a Sunday morning, so maybe they were short staffed. I'm not very good and arranging these items into a good looking package. I picked out some flowers, (Roses cause I don't know any better) and 3 stacks of balloons that said happy birthday. I paid for the items and went to my car. When I got home much of the air was no longer in the balloons. $60 on balloons and gone in a second. It was windy and cold, so maybe that's why, but I parked real close to avoid that situation. I'm a big fan of Jewel and will continue to shop there in the future, can't let 1 bad experience be viewed as the norm.

Went to make a payment via Western Union and he told me I have to come back at 9 AM. There’s no one there that operate Western Union but online it says Western Union is open there until 10 PM at this location so they need to train all their employees that work Customer Service how to use or make payments via Western Union if not, then you should offer it or post online the timeframe that you can make a payment with western union.

This has become the worst Jewel in the area. Staff is unwilling to help with questions. I could not find something and I was pointed to 3 other departments to ask someone else. Is common practice no longer to walk the customer to the item to provide better customer experience. Left without the item but not without first noticing how disgusting the store is. Milk diapers looked like they haven't been changes in 6 months. Smell was horrible and off putting. I usually go to the Minooka location and I'll stick with that one going forward.

After seeing the ladies bathroom which has to be one of the nastiest restrooms I ever seen and the foul smell coming from the seafood department was enough for me. I must say I'm really surprised at this jewel here in Shorewood

Every time I come there I have to check my receipt. Shows sale price on shelf but don’t ring up that way. Also I do the 4 u coupons and they don’t always deduct. It’s aggravating having to go back and have it corrected. This has happened a lot.
