Jewel-Osco, located at 199 Brookforest Ave, Shorewood, IL, is a grocery store that provides a variety of services to meet customer needs. The store features a pharmacy offering immunizations and prescription refills, as well as a bakery known for its birthday cakes, custom cakes, and cupcakes. Customers can also order deli items through the Order Ahead service. The butcher block offers an assortment of meat and seafood, including sushi trays, while the produce department is well-stocked.
Reviews highlight the friendly staff, including a deli employee who went above and beyond to accommodate a large order for a party. However, some customers express frustration with stocking activities during shopping hours and crowded aisles, particularly on weekends. Despite these issues, many appreciate the store's selection and availability of products. A memorable moment was shared by a customer who received a tulip from a young staff member at the self-checkout, which made their day special. Overall, Jewel-Osco aims to provide a positive shopping experience with helpful staff and a wide range of products.
Quick in/out so I cant assess the store past grabbing some gum, paying, and leaving. Seamless transaction

The Romeoville Jewel has narrow aisles, chopped up layout, almost never has fresh chicken and very unhelpful and rude employees and nothing has changed in the last 8 years
November 2025
The staff are extremely helpful and the shelves are always being stocked!
