“I recently brought my Lexus IS250 to North Pointe with a severe transmission shifting problem, fearing the worst. Adam diagnosed it as an electronic issue rather than the transmission, however, and fixed it by replacing the car's Electronic Control Module. The service was extremely professional, quick, and was the equal of any Lexus dealership at a more competitive price. Adam's knowledge and competence are exceptional, he is personable and straightforward, and I can say without hesitation this was the highest quality repair experience I've had.”
“The best auto shop in the area! Freddy & Johnson were SO great to work with. The insurance gave them a hard time and delayed the process a bit but they were patient and came through and got the job done & delivered perfectly. My car looks like nothing ever happened to it! They are so kind, responsive, and great at what they do! They always kept me up to date during the process and they even washed my car inside & out before I picked it up. It was spotless! “I followed too close to a semi truck with snow on top of the trailer and a hard patch of ice hit the plastic vent type of piece on the front of my grill. Putting a small crack in the vent piece and cracked one of the sensors. I called Sherman dodge in Skokie and they referred me to Oakton Auto Body.
From the first conversation to completion they were fantastic. I was able to bring my vehicle in , they inspected the damage immediately and ordered what I needed. I put a down payment and was called once the part came in to perform the repair. Costumer service was superb. Exactly what I needed in that moment. I was also elated with the cost. I would like to thank Oakton Auto Body for such a great experience. Nothing fancy about this place. Just outstanding repair and customer service with a price that was desirable. I highly recommend Oakton Auto Body For Repairs.”

Not only that I had a blast talking to Fred about replacing my tires, he was very understanding that I didn’t have the expenses at the moment for tires. “My young son and I were driving to the Shedd Aquarium from Waukesha, WI when my check oil light came on. I will admit that I am completely ignorant when it comes to just about anything with cars, so I had no idea what kind of damage I could be doing to the car to continue driving, and I was a good 2 hours from home. I happened to find Kris Touhy Auto because I searched for a BP gas station close to me along my route -- and sure enough attached to the BP was this auto shop. I was shaken, I was embarrassed, I was rushed -- and the two men in the shop (an older gentleman and a younger man) immediately stopped what they were doing and both came out to check my oil level and fill it up -- for like pennies! They even showed my son (and me) how to do it. I can't say enough good things about these men and this shop. It seems like a simple, easy thing for most, but they saved the day for me, and it had a huge impact on my day. If I lived closer, you'd be my go-to! Thanks, gentlemen.”

“I needed a rear spoiler installation on my car. I went to "Sam's Auto Body" in Evanston and was quoted $400 in labor for this installation (I had the part already). That price sounded absurd for what I knew the job entailed. Luckily, my suspicions were confirmed, and I got the part installed for $200 here at McCormick's Auto Body. McCormick's has a knowledgeable team doing great work for a reasonable price. Thank you!”
