“I've gone to Skokie Radiology multiple times over the past 3 years and I've only had positive experiences. The radiology staff is personable, friendly, and kind. They explain everything in great detail and answer any questions you may have prior to completing any procedure. Compared to other locations I've had imaging performed, this one is by far the best - they are like a well-oiled machine! I would highly recommend their department.”

“I have been so fortunate to have been taken to this hospital when I missed a fly ball from my grandson in the park and fell and broke my hip. I have been here 5 days.
I don't want to sound too effusive, but this has been like a five-star vacation for me!
There were wonderful teams of techs, nurses, PT, Drs and caring CNAs, all the way to the runners for food trays. The coffee's always hot, the food is delicious, the beds other than the sheets which I got tangled up in all the time are comfortable, and my room.. wow what a view! My recovery team did everything for me and set up my residential home help for the next couple of weeks. I didn't have to lift a finger, all I had to do was smile with relief, knowing I'm cared for.

Dr. Gilleon is, without question, the most compassionate, attentive, and thorough doctor I’ve ever had. She truly listens, takes every concern seriously, and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand without ever making you feel talked down to. I always leave feeling heard, informed, and involved in my own healthcare.

What sets her apart even more is the way she approaches patients as whole people, not as a number on a scale. As someone who has had difficult experiences with weight stigma in healthcare, finding a doctor who focuses on my overall health instead of my body size has been life-changing. She has never made me feel judged or shamed. Outside of situations where it was medically necessary (such as my pre-op clearance), she didn’t even require height and weight measurements, and when they were needed, the staff made sure I didn’t have to see the number if I preferred not to. That level of thoughtfulness means more than I can express.

Dr. Gilleon also pays attention to the details that make care more comfortable. For example, she uses a comfort speculum for Pap smears, which made a procedure I normally dread so much easier. It’s those small, patient-centered decisions combined with her kindness that make this practice truly exceptional.

The entire office deserves recognition as well. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. Whether it’s scheduling, answering questions, or following up, everyone treats patients with genuine care and respect.

For the first time in my life, I don’t dread going to the doctor. In fact, I actually look forward to my appointments because I know I’ll be listened to and cared for. After years of feeling dismissed in healthcare, it’s something that has honestly brought me to tears.

If you’re looking for a primary care doctor who practices evidence-based, patient-centered, weight-inclusive care, listens to you, respects you, and genuinely wants to help you be healthier, I cannot recommend Dr. Gilleon highly enough.”

“I've been seeing Dr. Tassler since 1994. He's retired now and I still come here. The staff is very responsive to messages and kind in person. The only drawback is that they don't draw blood here any more. The labs at Endeavor Health are not good so I go to Northwestern Medicine for lab work.”

Dr. Doss was unhappy to hear that a previous prescription I had was unaffordable for me, so she took extra time to find an alternative but equally effective prescription option. She also was very attentive in asking about my family history and took extra care after learning that I was adopted to make sure she had an understanding that I was aware of paying attention to any possible inherent conditions and gave me not negative responses, but positive encouragement to stay on top of my health.
