“This is a neighborhood gem! They have a variety of clothes, shoes, and toys/gifts for newborns to pre-teens. The staff are friendly, the items are well organized, and it is a fun shopping experience for adults and children. I have gone several times throughout the year for basics, outerwear, and formal clothes, and it never disappoints.”
“I got an AMAZING vintage modern granite table and Henry Miller chairs here that will be in my dining room forever. They were in perfect condition and so much better built and classier than all of the cheap new furniture out there. And the staff is incredibly helpful and worked with me for delivery!”
“Andy is a delight to chat with. He is super chill and has a great sense of humor, but best of all, the way he talks about his mom, his antiques and his joy in helping customers is the BEST. Make sure to stop in soon to his new location. You won't be disappointed.”
“Very well organized toy store. Quite a bit of unique finds, even though didnt get much definitely cool stuff. Worth the visit. If your in the neighborhood stop in you might find something.”
“Vintage Grind House is one of the best antique shops in Chicago. They have a wide array of beautiful furniture and art and they even offer upholstery services
I highly recommend Vintage Grindhouse and I can’t wait to see their new location!”
“Incredible shop with tons of different jewelry and Chachkis. Reasonably priced and decent enough service, too. You could spend hours going through this stuff. Also had some clothes with a dressing room in the back. Would 100% recommend and would come back again.
The only two things I’d say weren’t great was the parking situation and the space inside, bc the lot is very small and the fact that it was a bit crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon, which is understandable. I read that there was another lot across the street, but it’s a pretty busy intersection, so fair warning.”
“I’m always a little nervous when it comes to buying second hand luxury, but Mr. & Mrs. DIGZ made the entire experience effortless. Emilia was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient! Thanks to her, I found the perfect YSL & Burberry bags that I absolutely love! I’m already excited to shop for my girls’ holiday items here too. Shopping should always be this easy! Highly recommend Mr. & Mrs. DIGZ for anyone looking for authentic luxury pieces with amazing service!”
“Such a lovely store. Can’t sing Jen’s praises enough. She made my husband and I feel so welcome. Wonderfully organized but you can still have that “digging around” thrifting experience. Support this business!!!”
“Loved the good vibes in this cute and well curated vintage shop. The owner has an amazing selection of scarves, high quality shoes ? dresses, shorts, skirts and jewelry here. I even saw some lovely handbags ? and the ailes are well organized.
The owner is extremely friendly and we had a great conversation. It's definitely worth your time to visit here and everything is fairly priced for the quality you receive.
I even found a very cute pair of retro vintage denim shorts. Next time I think I'll spend a bit more time here and hunt for shoes.”
“I am over the moon happy with my new Grundig counsel. I had been admiring Harlequin Vintage through socials for a while and I reached out explaining what I was looking for. Dave responded he just so happened to have the exact piece I was looking for! The sound is amazing. I had used his white-glove delivery service and was extremely impressed! Reliving the sound of music I listened to growing up and remembering my parents dancing....priceless. Thank you, Dave!!!”
“This is such a neighborhood gem! Female owned and fantastic merchandise. They know my children and have outfitted them for years. Always warm and helpful when we come in. Love to shop at wonderful local, sustainable businesses like this one.”
“Awesome vintage shop with repair and alterations. Kate repaired my Grandmother’s dress from the 1950s so beautifully. I am so touched. The dress needed new buttons and clasps. Jeanie located some similar size and fabric buttons since I didn’t have a replacement. If you have a vintage piece and are wondering how to go about fixing or altering it, come here.”
“Shop with a beautiful selection of items for men and women. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. You can find some real treasures here!”
“Rudy, the owner, super helpful guy. I called with questions about movie theater chairs and he graciously offered his time and expertise. If you want someone knowledge and honest, I highly recommend Lazy Dog Antique.”
“I am SO glad I found this place! They have many unique items, most of them are customizable. I found a stunning chair that my heart was set on. I plan to furnish my entire apartment with things from this store! There truly is something for everyone at District!”
“A fantastic thrift store that gives back to the local community. Quality items at great prices. One of my favorite places to thrift and they have a parking lot.”
“Awesomely beautifully wholesome and cozy. Abundantly charming! Come by! Hidden gem for a reason but also with a big heart. My daughter loves the magic wonders and lower level treasures and jewelry”
“cloth + home is an absolutely charming boutique that has quickly become one of my favorite local spots for finding unique, high-quality items for my living space. The selection of textiles, home goods, and curated decor is genuinely impressive, blending modern aesthetics with a deeply cozy, welcoming feel. As I have been focusing on making my apartment feel more like a comfortable, organized sanctuary, I found their collection to be incredibly inspiring and perfectly aligned with my taste. The shop itself is beautifully arranged, immaculately clean, and very easy to browse. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to offer helpful advice or styling tips without ever feeling pushy. Whether you are looking for a special gift or simply want to elevate your home with some thoughtful, stylish accents, I highly recommend stopping by this wonderful shop for a fantastic, personalized, and genuinely enjoyable shopping experience!”
“Looking forward to another visit soon! The team at Turn the Tables in Northbrook were very accommodating and helpful. We bought a bulky piece of furniture; they quickly labeled unique parts for easy reassembly and suggested another place nearby where we might the find other items we need.”
“Neybir is without a doubt the best home store in Chicago.
If you need a custom dried floral arrangement, a thoughtful housewarming gift, or luxury kitchen/bar supplies, this is your shop.
Prices also range. Some items are investments or things you might save up for. Others are priced affordably and are competitive with Target or Crate and Barrel. Even if you just stop in to browse and see the gorgeous displays, it’s worth a trip.”
“Definitely a high end vintage boutique. Sadly, unless I missed some signage, items like dresses were organized by waist size and they maxed out at 29 inches (I have a 36 inch waist). If they had a larger section I missed it ?. The hard goods at the front were a nice addition to differentiate themselves from other local vintage shops though!”

“Absolutely love the Shop from the attentive staff and volunteers, to the amazing window displays, from the great selection of clean, quality clothing that I am saving from a landfill to the important mission. So glad to have the shop in town.”
“Great selection of clothes & shoes in Lincoln Park. Store’s been there for years. Walked by & decided to go in. Found & bought a great “Free People” jacket, will come back again & again!!”
“Stopped in while visiting the area and it was a pleasant experience. Bill is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable of the pieces at the shop. We will definitely be looking out for items on the Instagram page.”
“A lovely neighborhood spot. The curation is fantastic, a true old school vintage store (hard to find these days!). Prices are very reasonable and the owner is always lovely. So glad to have in the area!”
“Super cute store. Very impressed with the vintage items and jewelry. I got the cutest Rhinestone blingy earrings. They instantly caught my eye. They had some really unique fur jackets and trench coats. The boutique is a good spot to pickup a one of a kind item. I enjoyed browsing the store. The owner was really nice and the store wasn't overcrowded. That is always a plus. I will be back as I wanna grab the this roller perfume and maybe even grab some earrings that I left.”
“Great store with good options. Just know staff has a tendency to be unfriendly and cold, but not necessarily rude. They will help if you ask but probably won't be happy about it.”
“Great place to find vintage toys and modern toys. I use to go to the old location but this one is bigger and plenty of parking. The owner is a great guy!!! Most definitely will go back!!!”
