“Everyone in the office is wonderful and understanding. I brought in a stray for a health check up and I felt very welcomed. They were upfront about pricing and any treatments that were needed were discussed throughly before hand. I was also able to book a same day appointment which was incredibly helpful because the feline was running a fever. All vets are expensive these days so pricing was comparable to most veterinarian offices.”

“The staff and veterinarian were absolutely great. Very straightforward and to the point. The atmosphere is great as well. Ample street parking out front. Brought my feline friend here and she definitely felt at ease as well (albeit she’s easily impressed).”

“Have been taking my puppy there for her shots, nail trims, etc. Recently, my puppy was acting a bit funny and, luckily, they had an immediate opening. She was thoroughly checked out and, as always, treated so well! Thank goodness nothing was wrong! Will continue to return to Riser!”

“Extremely pleasant techs. Awesome Dr Miz. Took time to explain X-rays of my Yorkies' bilateral rear legs. Severe Lux-Patella. Needs surgery and is scheduled with Dr Miz. Fair pricing and very accommodating”

“Animal Medical Center was able to take our cat when we had an emergency and didn't know what was wrong with him. Everyone else I called wouldn't take him, saying they were full. The doctor at the center was kind, knowledgeable and professional. There wasn't a long wait and the center was clean. I greatly appreciate the care they gave our cat and would highly recommend them.”

“Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Vetenarian informed us of our options and educated us as much as he could. My puppy is feeling better and we are comfortable with the treatment plan that was given to us. Thank you 😊”

“We had the wellness plan which was worth it, and had been going to the Elston location in Chicago for 15 years. They weren’t that great and in the end when we really needed them, they were horrible. We were able to get our 15-year-old Shih Tzu in the same day at this location in Skokie/Niles and were given excellent care by Dr. Leigh. Unfortunately, our dog took a turn for the worst that evening at home and we were seen again the next morning by Dr. Wilensky. She was beyond caring, compassionate and kind. In the end, we had to have our dog put down and Dr. Wilensky and the assistant, Perla made it much easier than this very painful experience could have been. When we get our next dog, we will definitely be driving from the city to this location for our vet needs.”
