“Saw the most beautiful shirt in the ad at the front of the store but couldn’t find it within the store! I was getting ready to walk out when Joy asked if I needed help with anything. As soon as I began to describe the shirt she knew exactly what I was looking for. She guided me to the register where she was able to check if the item was in stock online. Joy made it so the item could be delivered directly to my house. Not only did I receive complimentary shipping but she was also able to apply the sale pricing to the item (30% off). Love this location, amazing customer service!

“I was helped a month back by an associate names Alexis, I finally remembered to add in this review.The store was short staffed to no fault of the few employees this day working to keep everything together.She was working the register and the dressing rooms were closed at the moment as another associate was on break, so they didnt have anyone to keep an eye on the area.She did myself and a few other customers a solid and got the dressing rooms opened for us to try our items after speedily helping the other customers at the line waiting.Myself and the other customers waiting understood she had a priority to the register first and waited patiently, and we were able to get what we needed as the other associate came back from break to keep everything stable with her.The district manager should work to help hire more associates, or work out a better schedule for atleast another two sets of hands on deck.For what these two ladies had to handle they did a solid job, I know what the short handed life is like as a previous retail associate.Customers tend to forget that human beings are the reason they get to shop here and not soul less robots.A1 Service!”

Once you place an order you get confirmation that your order is ready at the store. When you are ready to pick up you call the store and the associate brings the purchase to your car all contact free.”

“Shout out to Harun and Jalal, after a long day of shopping for suits for a wedding coming up, I stumbled upon this Express and saw a couple of suits and gave it a go. When I couldn’t find my size, I asked Harun if he could find my size in the back. As Jalal was finishing up with a customer, he came up to me to ask if I needed help looking for anything. As Harun came back with me sized suit, I tried it on and it fit perfectly. They kindly asked if I wanted to look at any other items for my important event, and helped me find a button up shirt, dress shoes and a tie to match my outfit. “I’m a small gift store owner. Today was the Friday before Mother’s Day and it was wonderfully wild at our store. I’m going to the theatre tomorrow afternoon and I have spent the week flipping out that I have nothing casual but nice enough to wear tomorrow. Because we were so busy all week at work, I have not had a chance to go shopping. So about 5 o’clock today I called JJill in Skokie. Jamie answered and put a shirt on hold for me. The shirt looked nice online but still I was clueless what to wear with it. Jamie told me the store was open until 9. I raced over after work at 8pm. I ran into the store, found Jamie and told her I needed a cute outfit to wear in 16 hours. Jamie pulled together 2 of the cutest outfits …EVER. She was so patient and wonderful and I promised to leave by closing and she said don’t worry, we will stay after if you need. WHAT????? Who does that? So 45 minutes later I walked out with two super cute outfits (not just theater wear but over and over dinner date wear, birthday party wear, out to lunch, out to dinner, off to work, clothes I can get so much use from.) Also some earrings, a pair of jeans, a great ivory tank and a present for my business partner!! Jamie was amazing!!!!! Above and beyond (and I left her with 15 minutes to spare!!!) JJill (and of course Jamie) will be my first go to from now on!! Thanks JJill so much for employing such great people!!
I also would like to mention skokie and deer park are my 2 jjill stores. Several years ago I stopped shopping at Jjill because the staff was really very icky to work with. And if you brought back a return it was as if they were doing a gigantic favor returning it!! Not great attitudes, not very nice, etc. I started shopping a couple of years ago at your stores again. Not sure what has changed but Deer park and Old Orchard have such consistently wonderful service. Please pass along my sincere thanks. And whatever may have changed at the corporate level, the results are so noticeable and appreciated.

“Never been in this store before and walked out with so many great things. My roommate and I absolutely loved their collection. The merchandising was incredible and Ella was so helpful! She was with us throughout the entire shopping haul…kept adding items to our fitting rooms, checking in on us, and checking us out once we were done. “I came to Tilly's on a mission: to find black jeans in a style/cut that fit me well. Being a small person, finding men's clothes that aren't huge on me is a challenge. In addition, many of the styles have been popular for the last decade make me look like a pear. Not what I'm going for.Needless to say, it was extremely comforting and refreshing when Jaime, one of the amazing people who was working that day, came to my aid. They helped me identify cuts that would accentuate what I want, hide what I don't like, and help me love my presentation. For the first time ever I was able to look in the mirror and see the goth boy that had yearned to be seen- and I even felt handsome.Jaime was extremely compassionate, validating, and went above and beyond to help me. I left feeling confident, seen, accepted, and excited to share my true self with the rest of the world. I drove 2 hours to get to the store based on calling the night before and being told they had my item. When I got to the store the item wasn’t there. “Really reeeally fun store. The selection is great, some of the things that I wouldn't even think look good when I see them on the rack, looked hella snazzy on the body.I wasn't wearing them myself, but the workers there are not only extremely helpful, but also pretty dang knowledgeable. I mean, who knows fashion like that?? We felt like we were in a TV show or a high end runway with the pairings and suggestions the sales associate gave us. She was so damn good, showing us how to style things and what pairs with what and what works for which body type etc etc.Even I found something that looked good on me (the store seems mostly suited for females I guess, but some of those hats are fantastic and worked on me too ?).In conclusion, what are you doing still reading this? Go have fun at anthropology already damn it! ?In all seriousness though — if this store is at your price range, it is more than worth the quality and variety (and the service being so good doesn't hurt either ?).”
