“Brian is phenomenal! I’ve never felt so happy about buying a mattress. He was patient and incredibly thorough. Very informative and knowledgeable. We walked in 30 minutes before the store closed. And he never made us feel rushed. Brian allowed my daughter to take her time and really feel apart of the experience since the mattress was for her. He told me of perks I didn’t know I had back when I bought a mattress in 2020. The store was clean, quiet and professional. “I met with the sales manager in person and I'm really thankful I did. This is family establishment and he and his team have heats of gold. My issue was caused by a vendor that they have a contract with for delivery. He went above and to make everything right. I spent a few more dollars with his establishment. If you don't see it on the floor just ask. O promise you, they have it!”
“ABSOLUTELY. freakin. LOVE. this place! The records, atmosphere and staff were amazing and very knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of records and 33s and 45s. They have tons of 33s in boxes so don’t be afraid to ask and go on a scavenging journey. The records are in very good condition and reasonably priced. friendly to novice and avid collector alike. Can’t recommend this place enough!”

“My husband and I were travelling through Indiana on our way to O'Hare and flying back to our home in Washington State. We had some extra time so stopped here just to look around since we are considering purchasing some new furniture back home. Cathy greeted us and showed us around. Even after making it clear that we were far from home and wouldn't be buying anything, she continued to be friendly and hospitable, chatting with us and inviting us to look around as long as we wanted. She was a bright spot in many miles of heavy traffic! So while we couldn't buy anything from Groen's, we certainly would if we lived in the area. The store is filled with many quality items. Please check it out when you are looking for new furniture!”

“I almost didn’t want to share this location because I’m scared all the vintage items will sell out! Ha ha ha I had things I’d been wanting to donate for a long time and randomly picked this location. I’m so glad I decided to shop because I found some amazing items here! I was so impressed at the selection of vintage furniture upon entering. In my opinion everything was greatly priced. The bottom of the store is dedicated mostly to bigger furniture pieces. The upstairs is where the clothes are. As well as smaller house items, toys and more! There were fitting rooms with mirrors and little benches. The clothes were priced at VERY affordable prices compared to other thrift stores like goodwill. Some areas were messy but it didn’t bother me at all. Especially considering that the workers are in recovery and the proceeds benefit them. It’s a non profit business and I was told the proceeds go toward the recovery of the people in the program as well as a men’s shelter. I’m all for the cause! The workers were so friendly as well and were excited for my finds too! I can’t wait to revisit and to add more vintage items to my home.”

“Beautiful furniture but things are a bit pricey, probably why there are barely any visitors. This place always looks deserted when I drive past or go in to see what’s new. The bling items always catch my attention, they have a sale going on now, not sure for how long.”
“Wanted furniture for Niece's first apartment. We got a good deal on a sturdy sofa with a chaise connected for about 200 less than the other stores we went too. Also a nice little table & chair set. The guys there were friendly & it was delivered the next day.”
“Family-operated business with some really unique items. If you have an electronic gadget that’s missing its adapter cord, they probably have it. I brought an air-blown inflatable in and sure enough, I found the matching adapter and get this…….it was only .50 cents. Score!!! ???They have multiple sizes on hand. So don’t throw that item away just yet until you swing by.”

“Been shopping at Ted Baron for years. They are wonderful people to do business with and extremely helpful in your search for Quality Furniture. My suggestion is to go to a larger store like Darvin find the items that you're looking for get your pricing and then go to Ted Baron. I know Darvin doesn't like to let you know who the manufacturer is but you can get that from them if you're persistent. Otherwise take a picture of what you're looking for with your camera phone. If your experience is like mine you will be shocked at the savings in comparison. Unless things have changed they also offer free delivery which is a big plus compared to many other furniture stores.”

I text him a pic of the pieces I want and he gets them in and delivered to me expeditiously! My kitchen table, the kids bedroom sets and this year I got a new couch and bed for me.

“My sales person during checkout made me realize there is still hope for humanity! This young female was alarmingly happy to do her job—at first I thought she was a fresh hire because she was too accommodating yet young! Wrong. She had been with the company for awhile as she revealed during conversation she helped me with my target circle app. I’m in Target as much as the next person and have tried to adapt to certain personalities. But in Targets defense, it has always outperformed Walmart. Always. But this employee should definitely be a Team Leader. Great service.”

“I have no problems with Steger or Cal City Aarons. Their staff are respectful and accommodating. The dryer has issues with leaking oil on my clothes. However, it came from another location. They are all great!”
