Tobacco Shops near South Elgin, IL

“The best smoke shop in town and the coolest owners as well I went here and they gave me the best service and hooked me up Marvin is such a chill guy will always come back when I’m in town”

“Major thanks to Jason , Jasmine and Cocoa !!!

I came in two nights ago and had the most amazing time ever. Even on my walk into the store staff members were so friendly and welcoming making it feel like a safe and cozy place to be immediately. I was happy to see the sweetest and quiet shop greeter Cocoa who had the most lovely demeanor.

I had a blast walking around the store and viewing all of their products and merchandise they truly have some of everything you need here and more plus the store smelled great too. I was then helped out by Jasmine who was so incredibly patient as I had no real idea of what I wanted to get when I walked I so she helped me find options that were perfect for me. Then when I was preparing to wrap things up thinking the fun times were over I got an even better surprise when Jason was kind enough to help inform me about additional store sales and promotions that they offer at this location on top of their prices already being insanely reasonable he offered me even more product suggestions that I would like and wow was he absolutely correct I loved his product suggestions he gave me and I am excited to go back sooner or later to pick up more supply now that I have found a new go to place that I enjoy.

I highly recommend coming here for all of your smoke shop related needs as the customer service here is top notch and the products are unforgettable. You won't be disappointed when you come and you can always find something that you will enjoy here.

Thanks again Jason, Jasmine and Cocoa !!!”

“It’s crazy cause I came here all the time now I bought a vape that worked then stopped working out of nowhere I used my $5 off coupon to get this vape so you can tell I’ve always come here then they didn’t even want to exchange it or do anything about it so sad I’ve never coming back to this place please test your vapes before you come to this place they have the worst management ever and i was cool wit the little girl wit the glasses but yea some middle eastern guy screwed you guys business over badly I’ve never coming back to this place and for my friends and family I’m telling them to do the same so disappointed

Edit: I came back the next day and this awesome lady named Alyssa fixed all of my problems she told me that everything was a silly mistake and it will never happen again .. so get off your ahh and come up here to your local smoke shop their the best .”

“This is by far the best smoke shop I've ever did business at. The customer service was great and the variety of different products was impressive. Highly recommended”

“Five stars isn't enough for this place. I've been to a lot of glass shops over the years, and this one is in a league of its own. The selection is incredible, everything from affordable everyday pieces to genuinely stunning heady glass from local artists that you won't find anywhere else. The display cases alone are worth the trip.

What really sets it apart is the staff. Zero pretension, endlessly patient, and actually knowledgeable. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted, and instead of pushing me toward the most expensive thing on the shelf, they asked good questions and walked me to a piece that fit my budget perfectly. It's held up beautifully.

The shop itself is clean, well-lit, and organized, no cluttered chaos like some places. Prices are fair, they stand behind what they sell, and they clearly care about supporting glass artists, AND THEY'VE A POOL TABLE!!!

This is my go-to spot now, full stop. If you're anywhere in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out.”

“chill place with good selection. they offer testers, decent prices, and many items including kratom, cbd, and various disposable vapes & e-liquid+batteries.

Every time I go in there's usually an employee that rushes the experience rather than feeling leisurely. I feel like I can't look around necessarily without knowing the exact item I want. The employees that work there are knowledgeable with various products.”

“Stopped by for the first time and Santiago made the visit well worth it. Very friendly and offered a lot of good insight for someone fairly new to the cigar world. Make the visit if you can”

“This spot is amazing, they treat you like family, and go up and beyond to make sure you get the right product for your needs.

Adam, Adam, my new best friend thank you and keep up the great work 🫡”

“Update as of 6/4/2026: Came back to the store today to see if the products I have been unable to find elsewhere might be carried here. I was reluctant (refer to previous review), but decided to go anyway. What a complete turnaround. Sameer was incredible. He took the time to make sure that every product I purchased was correct and worked properly with the products I purchased them for. He went above and beyond which aligns with what I remember my experiences to be when I first began patronizing this vape shop. In 2022. I hope that the store will continue to hire employees like him in the future! So happy to have my favorite store back! Thanks Sameer!

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I had to come back and change my rating because every time I’ve returned to this place and a particular worker is there, my experience is trash. I currently live 6 1/2 hours away from this place and can only shop here when I’m in town visiting family on the south side of Chicago. I make the trip even further to the burbs to visit friends and shop at other stores unique to the area. I always come here because the prices are still great and there’s usually something great I can return home with that no one else will have and I like that exclusivity. In order to find those items, I usually have to set aside about 20-30 mins to browse and see what new things they have added to their inventory. The aforementioned worker seems to be especially annoyed by this action and has no problem showing his disdain. I often come prepared to purchase multiple large ticket items (bongs, vaporizers, batteries, air fresheners, various glass items). However, due to his attitude, and as of late, him blatantly rushing me to make a decision and check out, I am unable to contain my disgust, and I opt to forego any large purchases in favor of something cheaper. Doesn’t he know that the longer a person browses, the more opportunity he has to sell more products? I don’t know what this guy is doing in there when no one is in the store but it can’t be more important than me spending my money or my continued loyalty to this establishment. That in itself should warrant better treatment. Not everyone that comes in the smoke shop wants to buy overpriced disposable vapes in a hurry. Some of us are loyal repeat customers with varying needs that enjoy in-person shopping. If management is being cheap and encouraging this behavior because they are afraid people are going to steal when workers are helping other customers…hire another associate.

Previous Review: I am thrilled to write this glowing review after my 2nd visit to this small but mighty head shop in the NW Suburbs. I hate that I was not made privy to this shop months ago when moving to this area because this would have surely been my #1 spot. Greeted by the equally handsome and knowledgeable owner once you arrive, you will be taken aback by the incredible selection of glass, vapes, and juices. Each item extensively researched by the owner who is always eager to share the bevy of information he has acquired over many years of smoke shop ownership. I was most impressed with his exclusive, one of a kind rare finds; My most recent purchase being an electric dab rig released just days before I purchased. It has since been a game changer for me and my lifestyle, providing the opportunity to enjoy my products in places/environments previously off-limits. If it weren’t for his expertise, and his attention to detail, he never would have offered the item to me. I’m grateful that he is so observant, and invest so much care into pleasing his customers. Since learning of this. I have brought many friends along for a quick trips, and plan on coming back very soon to see what new things he has in stock. You will not go wrong stopping here.”

“Totally cool, knowledgeable staff. Not your average smoke shop. They will assist you in every way. Have been going here for a year or so and always happy with product. Not to mention how neat the shop is set up. I love the them there and how they always greet you with kindness and totally professional. Will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend Uncle Stu's!”

“The best and most convenient store open late night in the area. Always have all the newest selections and whatever I might be looking for that I don’t even know exists! Coolest spot in town!”

“The store is immaculate and well stocked. Their Geek Bar selection is out of this world, (I literally travel 35 miles for their selection and availability), and the customer service is awesome!! ❤”

“Best place around! I've been coming to see Ruby the ownet since i was a teen. He has been here long before all these other shops in the area. One of the biggest selections and always a great deal.”

“The store is immaculate with tons of options. I cannot say enough about the associate Ed. I came in with a lighter torch and I explained to him that I never refueled it before. Not only did he fuel it for me, he showed me how to do it. That's the type of service you don't see anymore. He made feel heard and respected. I will definitely being coming back here thanks to his courtesy. Thanks again Ed.”

“La Vita Cigars has an incredible selection, a fantastic lounge atmosphere, and one of the best walk-in humidors you’ll find anywhere. The owner, Joey, is absolutely first-class—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making every customer feel welcome. Joe and his team go above and beyond to create a great experience. La Vita isn’t just a cigar shop—it’s a place where people come to relax, enjoy great cigars, and feel at home. Highly recommended!

Reminds me of my of my late father every time I go in there. Love this place.

“This is my Go to smoke shop, Not only do they have great brand products but the customer service is beyond 5 stars, The owner and the employees always take the time to ask me exactly what I’m looking for and always suggest different flavors and brands of vapes to try. Every time I leave I leave supper happy with my purchase and always end up coming back. Recently bought this “Hits Blunt” brand Vape and it might be my new favorite highly recommend!”

“These guys are the best of the best!! I just moved from the city and I’m so glad I found them. They literally ordered this flavor for me & texted me when they got it. They have a rewards program and are such nice people!!”

“Bartlett Cigarettes has the best customer service! Especially Paul, all of them are kind and helpful. I've been coming here for well over a decade. I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out!”

“Best smoke shop in the Saint Charles area. Friendliest staff, best prices, and always a smile on their face when I walk in. I love you guys thank you for being who you are!”

“Great little tobacco shop hidden away in the shopping center off of Stearns and 59. Good owner always helps me out with anything I need. Always willing to get what he doesn't have for you. Great little hidden gem in Bartlett.”

“I went in tonight to grab a few things to complete my at home mini bar. As someone with severe social anxiety the staff at this location were awesome. As a 21 year old buying alcohol still gives me anxiety and sometimes I get scared that I am going to be turned away because I look younger. But the staff did a great job at helping me find what I was looking for, making recommendations on what brands to get since I am still new ish to this and never once made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I even got a bag of chips for 1 penny for signing up with my phone number and buying a qualifying item. I will definitely be back and I truly appreciate how I was treated tonight. You guys are great :)”

“I've had my bowl from here for 18 years and it just finally broke ?? Ive had a hundred others in between that easily broke but nothing like this one! You cant find quality like that anywhere these days”

“They where super helpful answering all my questions about the different dab pens and they carry the clear ceramic tips for my seahorse ultra !! No more ordering online and waiting for it to ship !!! Awesome shop awesome help !!!”

“If you aren’t coming here to see Tommy, you’re doing it wrong! This shop is an absolute playground, constantly loaded with the newest drops and the best selection in town, but Tommy is the real MVP. He is a total wizard at finding exactly what you need before you even know you need it, making the whole experience effortless and fun. He’s incredibly sweet, remarkably knowledgeable, and quite literally the GOAT of customer service. 10/10 for the inventory, but 100/10 for Tommy. Go see him and thank me later, this human absolutely rules!!”

“Exceptional Service and always very informative about the multiple products they offer, not looking to make money but looking for the best value for the customer that to me is just amazing!”

“This place is awesome! Julian is a great business owner and just a kind soul. If you want to support small businesses that care not only about their customers but also value their employees, this is the place to go.

“Smoke For Less is a great place I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tobacco needs! The owner and the people that work there are very courteous friendly and sometimes funny.
