The museum is very well done and easily kept the attention of our 45 high school students. The process to enter with a large group is a bit clunky, so expect to wait on the bus for a bit before you're let in. Once inside, the exhibits and theaters do a great job of teaching even reluctant teens about Lincoln.

It’s one of the best museum in town. We learn so much and had a one to one guidance with rich information about the president life, from his birth, his childhood, his manhood, his personal learning and self education, his family, his stressful but always forwarding life as a son, husband, father, lawyer and president. I feel impressed for his humbleness in every stage of his life

Greatly surpassed my expectations. Highly recommended!! Be sure to visit the tomb and take a tour of the home as well. Everything is within just a few miles of each other. Great day for a history lover.

This is one of my favorite museums! I love it! I love it! It's so interactive and takes you right in! I visit this place about two times a year!I pray that they continue to up the exhibits and get more creative. I mean the shows in the theater and the ghost library...AMAZING!!!! These people were smart to have Disney be apart of the project. Amazing! Amazing. I'd recommend this museum to everyone. It is like none other. It is totally unique, amazing, and makes you feel you are in the 1800s with Lincoln and you feel his spirit and those who were alive spirit too.

The Abe Lincoln Museum is really remarkable. So many exhibits and each with detailed plaques of information. There is two different theaters which have shows running all day which I highly recommend checking out. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the gift shop is full of unique items. This museum is my go to place just to be reminded of history or anytime I need some inspiration for a paper or book I am working on. I also recommend reading each exhibit and soaking in everything instead of just quickly walking through.

This museum was absolutely fantastic!! I was so impressed with the realistic exhibits. It was so informative. Very clean. The technology was amazing. The Ghosts show was just incredible. The people who worked here were kind and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean. The gift shop was very large with a wide variety of souvenirs from which to choose. We came on a school field trip and had a wonderful time.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum was surprisingly very interesting. They had a couple of interactive theaters that lasted around 15-17 minutes each. An exhibit of how they thought Abraham was raised. That exhibit has a fun scavanger hunt. They have an exhibit of different presidents and their history. And, of course, the political life of Abraham Lincoln all of the way to his assassination.I would suggest calling ahead if you would like a group tour. Otherwise, you are welcome to walk in and pay. They don't allow food, drink, or gum.I would say to take a good 4 hours here soaking it all in. They do have a gift shop with interesting little things to buy like huckleberry syrup.

Excellent museum! Great job portraying the life of Lincoln in a realistic way. The exhibits are thoughtful and well done. The two theater experiences should not be missed; they are so good! The staff was knowledgeable and super nice. Give yourself 3-4 hours to get through it without rushing. It was an amazing experience overall! I highly recommend a visit.

My Tractorman and I really enjoyed it very much. The two theatre performances were exceptional. Learned some things I did not and found that it was not overwhelming like some museums. Hope to come back in the area to hit some of the other sites. Parking on the streets with meters.

Absolutely one of the best museums I have ever been to. The holovision effects were amazing. Each area had something special about it. We stayed for three hours and the time flew by. Very well done. The volunteer staff also added to the experience.

This is the best museum I can remember ever visiting. Every exhibit is very well done and has a variety of ways of displaying the information (plaques to read, audio info, videos, etc). It’s really easy to leave from there feeling that you really got to know Lincoln as a person and as a President. I liked that they included the negatives about him and his life, rather than just the glowing positives, as you got to know what he might have actually been like, as a human. We started out in the Research Library with just a quick walk around the main lobby, as we were informed that most of that building is a working research library, and not open to the public without permits. The security guard that greeted us at the door, Len Jackson, was so kind and professional. He was also very enthusiastic about his love for the museum and highly recommended we start our museum visit by watching the “ghost film”.I am so glad we met Len! Our time was limited at the museum, and we usually skip the movies in those scenarios, but the “ghost film” (first film to the right as you enter the museum) was well worth the ten minutes. It was fascinating and had fun special effects. I would also highly recommend this one for children and teens as it emphasizes why it’s important to learn history.I can’t say enough good things about this museum. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The building itself is classy, pristine, and beautiful. The “Journey 1” and the “Journey 2” areas of the museum were so well done. I wish we had had more time to really explore every exhibit. Excellent museum.

Little hard to get here and out of downtown with all the road construction, but the museum itself is great. Very big and detailed, multiple exhibits incuding multiple not just about Lincoln.

Very informative and easy to follow information about Abraham Lincoln, covering much of his life prior to and during the Presidency, as well as that of his widow's sad history and his surviving son, Robert.
