I had a fantastic experience at the extended stay hotel in Springfield, LA. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The convenient location and reasonable rates added to the overall satisfaction of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and value during an extended visit to Springfield. Five stars!

I had a wonderful stay, and most of all the front desk clerk, Jasmine was awesome. Great customer service can make a difference in EVERYTHING!!! She was absolutely wonderful, patient, kind, and made a very hard time I was having easier. Thank you so so much for her, she deserves the best!!! Also the place was very clean the lobby was bright and welcoming. Thank you extended stay. ☺️Rooms: Rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable, thank you. My nights sleep lifted a great weight off me believe it or not, you have no idea why I was here, but I am so thankful again for your front desk clerk Jasmine and the overall experienceNearby activities: Plenty to do nearby if you ever get hungrySafety: I noticed the front desk had monitors at her location, and I also noticed there were cameras in every hallway, so I felt very safe

I honestly don’t understand where all of the negative reviews are coming from. We booked a studio suite for 10 days (Nov. 30th - Dec 10th . When we first arrived we were super surprised at how clean and nice the lobby was and it smelled great. The staff are so sweet and were very welcoming when checking us in (which took less than 10 minutes)

This hotel is best place to stay. when I entered the room the fragrance of room smelled good, room and bed was very clean and bathroom was clean , the staff was cooperative and nice . it was my best experience .

This is terrible. Not enough hep and the smell in the hallways are awful. Dirty hallway carpets and garbage sitting around waiting to be dumped outside. No sheets in the room to put in sofa bed. Had to wait almost an hour at 10:00 at night to get them. 0 stars.Rooms: They’re ok

We had our room overbooked!!! When I arrived to check in the front desk staff was very rude and turned us away laughing!!! The hotel still charged us for the night without giving us a room!!! I requested a refund and the hotel denied the refund saying that we violated the cancelation policy!!! Don't stay here, it was a total rip off for me!!! I ended up staying at the Baymont Suites in Springfield for the night!!! Sucks that they overbooked our room and robbed us of the cost for the night!!! They must be really horrible to need to steal from their patrons!!!

I reserved a room over the phone when I got there I gave the front desk my ID and card he asked me to go check out the room to see if it was OK then I went to the room and opened the door it was a man and lady in bed I apologized to them quickly left the room. I go downstairs to the desk and explained to him someone was in that room he then acted as I was lying saying I will go check it out because no one is supposed to be in that room. Then he asked me to sign some paperwork stating the room he was sending me to now was ok and certain hotel rules for being a guest there so I did. He then gives me the key to another room my children are now crying because they are tired from our long trip I grab all my things again go to the room and the key is not working so I go back downstairs and tell him the key isn't working he then tells me I'm irritated and I will just refund u your money. I tell him why did u charge my card and I didn't even ok that I liked the room? So now it's like 12 at night and not only was I charged for the room I didn't get but now I'm having to go to another hotel and pay for another room when I have already paid for this room. My children were crying and tired. I have never been treated so badly. This hotel was horrible and smelled of sewer. The ice machine only worked on the 1st floor.Hotel worker told us we was taking too long, looking at the room.

This place is absolutely terrible. So bad my company of 50000 employees black listed it from future company reservations. I stayed here for 12 days and have bullet pointed the major issues I came across. If you value your personal belonging money and safety i would strongly advice against this place.*Items stolen from my room the first and only cleaning my room got.*I was charged a random 100 dollar fee and lied to about it getting refunded when I checked out. So I was pretty much robbed by the cleaners and the front desk*While I was getting lied to checking out at the front desk a fight broke out in the lobby between a staff member and some random lady that wasn't even a staying there.* Rooms were slapped together with lights that seemed like fire hazards or didn't work at all and a very poor room layout. Like it was a run down holiday inn and they just blew out the wall between the rooms.^ The entire Hotel smelled like bleach*The laundry room is in the front lobby which is very weird*TV in the front room but not in the bed room*AC in one of the rooms barely worked

We had made a reservation - requested late check in. Received an approval for late check in and confirmation of our reservation. Arrived at the hotel in Springfield at the time we informed them in our reservation that we would be arriving. We were told they did not have the room we reserved but could give us a suite for $100 more per night than what our reservation was for. What is the point for a reservation at a set rate and guaranteeing late.checknin if they are not going to honor the reservation??When we arrived the desk personnel was training someone and told me to wait until he was done to help us. I stood at the desk for 15 minutes waiting to be helped - only to be told they dis not have the room we reserved and if I wanted what rooms they had it would be an additional $100 per night.

I honestly don’t understand where all of the negative reviews are coming from because my husband and I had a fantastic experience at ESA Springfield. We booked a studio suite for 10 days (Sep. 30th - October 10th) while we waited to move into our new rental. When we first arrived we were super surprised at how clean and nice the lobby was and it smelled great. The staff are so sweet and were very welcoming when checking us in (which took less than 10 minutes) and solved any issues we had immediately. The battery to our door died when we got back to the hotel one afternoon and once we told the front desk the receptionist immediately went up to our room to replace the battery! The hallways were clean and had zero odor and when we got into our room it was like a candle was burning; it literally smelled that good every single time we entered. Our room was completely spotless and there really wasn’t any critiques we had, it was just a really nice modern room especially for the price. The only minor issue we had during our stay was that the hotel WiFi was altered halfway through, which made our connection a bit slow but it ultimately didn’t affect us too much. Overall we loved our stay at ESA, and if you’re hesitant to book with them because of the nasty reviews pay them no mind and book! We will absolutely stay with them again in the future.Rooms: Very clean, sanitized, and had every amenity you could need for a longer stay. The appliances (fridge, sink, stove) were new, clean, and worked very well. The bathroom was spotless and had a modern sink and touch-screen mirror that de-fogged the glass after a warm shower. The shower was absolutely fantastic! Great water pressure and the water was always hot. Bed is very comfortable and you sink into it in the best way possible. We loved having a Smart TV to stream shows and movies.Food & drinks: There’s plenty of food places nearby; there’s a Steak n’ Shake right across the street as well as a Starbucks. Great location food and drink-wise.

I often travel to Springfield on business but couldn't stay in my preferred hotel due to a major convention. First room I stayed in had multiple bugs in it and no desk to get any work done. After moving rooms my second night the wifi was so slow that it still was impossible to get anything done. Would recommend staying at other hotels in the area.

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life. I travel for Work usually a new hotel state every month for long periods of time. This is by far the worst run/kept hotel I ever been at.Multiple reasons why. We got 5 rooms for 10 days. All had issues. Bed bugs, mold/mildew, stained beds, leaks from the ceiling toilets, doors were broken, and just dirt and stains everywhere... I can go on and on what's wrong with this hotel. Seems like no one cares whatsoever for this hotel. When you complain to the front the whole procedure of getting something fixed is exhausting they would literally try to prove you wrong with every issue. They would have to call "the manager" and get it approved which that is not a quick process. The staff does not know what hospitality is and this is the wrong business to be in for that. Side note the bed bugs incident they couldn't care less. Took 10 hours and 2 trips and all they did was move rooms which should have happened instantly.I arrived two days earlier which this hotel decided to raise all the prices per room 30-40 each night during the Illinois state Fair. They did not advice any customers or guests. They were just told upon arrival. They posted signs around the hotel stating about the price increase as well as signs stating that have the right to refuse Service for anyone. They also said when booking through corporate or third party they did not communicate with them and needed to dispute the charge for a refund and book through them at the higher rate. Doesn't matter if you booked a week ago or 7 months that was the case. They are crooks and screwed every guest over when most people flew into there for Work and got stuck with this at the front Desk.The first night getting a taxi to the hotel the taxi driver warned us the hotel was full of crackheads and hookers.. my hopes weren't high for this stay.It got worse and worse last 3 days strong mold/mildew smell from the rooms assuming from the air condition unit. Was making all of us very weak and last day was enough when throat was swollen.Asking for towels or any toiletries seems like we are bothering them when asking. We left a key card in the room and they wanted 20 dollars for a key to replacement key card.0 housekeeping in some of the rooms the whole 11 days.This hotel needs to be shut down or complete overhaul and have people run it that know what they are actually doing. It is horrendous.There is so much more to say but honestly idk if a review can be this long but please please don't book your stay and please shut the hotel down and learn what hospitality means.I tried to hold out as long as I could because it was a business trip and booked through Work. We switched rooms multiple times through our stay and we started just taking the least of the worst rooms. I don't need a manager reply there is nothing you can say to fix this garbage run hotel. By far the worst hotel I have ever been too my whole life and that is not an exaggeration.

The Unsigned, Poorly Written " Reply " is Inaccurate !! I have an online receipt to W Turck ( not Truck ) for my 8/26 stay. So another Objective Example of 1 Star " Service ". ( And, Note my clear request for a Signed Response, With Job Title, was Ignored.) 9/12/23 1 Star " Service " 1. I haven't received my damage deposit back or an explanation from my 8/26 stay. Thomas, Desk Clerk, said this would be taken care of in 3-5 business days. 2. 10 A.M. I was just left on hold by an abrupt male for 5 minutes when I called the Front Desk to resolve this. 3. I was assigned a Room that was occupied. When my card key did not work, Thomas didn't initially realize the error.4. On checking out, Thomas was unable to print a receipt. >>> The Motel can Provide a Signed Response, With Job Title, to this " Service " Review.<<<

My fiance & I went for a work trip in Decatur. Hotels were charging $350-500 a night & Everything was booked up due to some farm event. So we made reservations here at Extended Stay America. It was clean and it smelled good. We made reservations for a king size non-smoking which was not available when we arrived.The staff were very helpful in accommodating us with a room. Manager apologized and gave us 2 full size bed suite which was very nice! The room was very clean & had two full bathroom, 2 tv, Home size refrigerator, love seat and a couch! The location was perfect. Had a good experience!
