We detected a gas smell. Service came within a couple of hours, (on a Friday eve!) Very nice technician, Mike, checked everything out and made sure we were safe.

We have been a customer since the 90’s. Always have had delivery within a week to 10 days. They do not allow orders at above 30% level and we ordered at 30% 2 weeks ago. They gave a two week delivery date. Of course the extremely frigid temps have caused supply to dwindle fast. We emailed and called multiple times over the last week requesting to expedite delivery. Never received confirmation or anyone to discuss the matter. Finally got live person on 1-18 when we were below 5% who suggested space heaters and verified we were on schedule for 1-22. Of course the ice storm has again postponed today delivery—-understandable. We have both furnaces off and water heater off. Of interest our neighbor right next to us called at 20% and received fill last Wednesday. They only had to go a few yards to our tank. Today we spoke to supervisor and he said we were on list for tomorrow. Then emailed us a thanks for your order today!!! It IS NOT A NEW ORDER. Very disgruntled and sure praying our appliances aren’t ruined due to this. This is blatant disregard for our safety and welfare.

If I could give zero stars I would. It’s one thing after another.Lacking in the customer service dept. for sure. One lady in particular is always so rude on the phone even when they’re the ones screwing it up. If you don’t like people or your job then leave and give it to someone who would do better at it.We’ve had issues with them owing us credits and bills not matching to what we paid. Also delivered to the wrong house. They delivered to ours and not our neighbors and we had to pay for it immediately even though we did not need the propane anytime soon.Their budget billing is a joke and that’s putting it nicely. Paid everything off and wanted us to pay over 400 dollars monthly to put credit on the account for gas we don’t even have or will need for a while. Literally defeats the purpose of it being called budget billing. Along with threatening that if we don’t pay for a credit on our account they’ll come take the tank with the gas in it that’s already paid for. Also before this we got told by another worker we don’t have to pay that amount, we only owe 12 dollars and that’s all that needs paid. Then they called changing the story. Lack of communication within the office staff. We will be looking else where for services.

I have been trying to get ahold of someone to get my propane tank filled for several weeks. I tried the call back, waiting, calling first thing in the am. Zero response or customer service. Luckily I didn’t need propane and Hicks gas was super response and helpful

My tank is at 20%. I called for a refill. Waited on hold for 23min just to find out rates have almost doubled since last fill. You would think during covid when so many of us lost our jobs the rates wouldn't of jumped up sky high..So that being said I can't afford $350 for the bare mini.. they don't even offer to work with you. So the tank will soon be at 0 and there's nothing I can do about it because I can't afford to get a fill.I would never recommend this Co.Go with HiCKS

Sitting in the parking lot at 0935am on a Thursday, door locked due to covid and no one answering the phone. How do you stay in business? On my way to FS now.

I called ferrellgas in December of 2019 to pressure test a 500 gallon propane tank and hook it up and they hooked it up they tested it for leaks said it was good filled up the propane tank and over the summer when I checked my tank I had noticed I had lost 11% so I called customer service five different times and got a call back from Nancy v she stated that they were going to go ahead and waive the service fee for something that I had already paid to be hooked up in pressure tests and they weren't going to charge me for coming out and fixing my leak when it was their responsibility in the first place I told Nancy that if she was unwilling to replace the 11% or giving me a credit back on my account that they would be earning a nice review online and that they will no longer retain my services as a customer Nancy v was unwilling to help me. I would say if you're going to get propane gas and the Springfield area get somebody from out of town to come in and fill up your propane tank unless you want to have horrible service and can't get anywhere with anybody at ferrellgas.

Ferrellgas is very responsive and professional in all of my interactions. I love that I can do level monthly payments and have the autofill option.

I've been a customer for 11 years, found out they are charging me $3.29 per gallon for propane and competitors (who I've never used) sell it for $1.99 per gallon. That's over $400 per fillup. I recommend you shop around before signing one to Ferrellgas. Greg Muller Cantrall IL
