Land of Lincoln Credit Union is a State Chartered financial institution founded in 1947. LLCU originally served the employees of the Decatur Signal Depot, which was a Federal Communications Facility. The Signal Depot closed in 1961. In 1987, the Board applied for, and received, a membership charter to serve Macon County residents, becoming a 'Community Credit Union'. Other credit unions merged with LLCU over the years and our "community charter" expanded to serve anyone who lives or works in many different counties in Central Illinois. Our mission is to provide education and services for financial success. We are dedicated to improving the financial literacy of our communities through education and dissemination of information.
I have tried calling for two days now and waited over 30 minutes each time just to ask a few questions. Does anyone ever answer the phone?!

Used to work here and this place has gone significantly downhill, rude customer service, and the people working have no education on banking. The only smart lady is the older teller with the short hair, never had a problem with her.

Banked here over 10 years, they truely don't care about anyone. They charge $29.00 OOPS fees for every single transaction you made in the day you went negative and have no sympathy. Please find somewhere else to bank before they take all your money and laugh at you for banking there so long like me.
