“Had a package say it was delivered but we got nothing, so we filed a Claim with USPS and Patsy with this office got back to us in lightning speed. She left a message saying that she would look into it. A few days went by and it’s now the weekend, low and behold a mail carrier knocks on our door with the missing package. Patsy even called to update us after the fact, Wonderful service! Thank you Patsy!”
“I hesitate to comment about this little post office, tucked away in sleepy Eola, because the word just might get out that there isn’t a more friendly, competent, and thoroughly wonderful experience to be had throughout the entire United Postal system than right here! “Stopped by the Bartlett Post Office the other day. The two men that work here are always helpful and pleasant to talk to. I enjoy chatting with them (if it’s not busy). They are super friendly and very efficient! All of my mailings done at this post office have made to their destinations in a timely and secured fashion.

“My partner and myself went to two other US Post Office locations, Plainfield and Lisle, in which, we were told we were not able to access the passport services as a walk-in. The Warrenville Post Office both actually accepted us as walk-ins and were extremely helpful. The staff was friendly, responsive, personable, and knowledgeable. We waited for a family, who was having trouble completing the application, and the staff at the post office ensured we would get our passport that day. They took us into the passport office, even after the service was suppose to be done/closed for the day. The team handled us with care, accommodated the family before us and ourselves, and had the most amazing staff full of energetic and kind personalities. Truly, the best customer service experience both my partner and myself have ever experienced! I cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are for the individuals working on the day we stopped in. I can’t thank them enough for the hospitality and guidance offered!”

I live in St Charles and go out of my way to come here; the St Charles post office is horrendous, they close during the afternoon when they want, they are rude and take forever even when dropping a simple package. I see so many complaints about the employees.
I go there frequently and have never had an issue with any employees. They are always very courteous to me. Sometimes when I am in a hurry and there is a longer line, I will use the self-service station. No one showed me how to use it. It walks you through menus as to what is needed. Weighs the package and gives you shipping options.
The employees here do not deliver your mail. They take your prepackaged items to assist with postage; how much it will cost for your different options.
They are not Packaging experts. They are not trained in how to package your items. (that I am aware of) They are there to assist you with the options for shipping and postage.
Assuming most people would know who, the package is being shipped to and where they live for the return address. But reading some reviews it is quite questionable to me the common knowledge to ship a letter or package. Who you are and who it is going to.

I have never done their job. I can see sometimes they are doing other things than assisting customers. Does this mean they need to stop their jobs tasks?
For just one week try to put yourself in their place.
I do work in customer service and would like to believe that I do a very good job. Unfortunately, I/you cannot please everyone.
There are rules and regulations at USPS. They are doing their best to assist all customers.

“Jennifer, the clerk at the Geneva Post Office went out of her way to reach out to another postal facility regarding a certified letter that was mailed to me June 23, 2024 and I have not received as of July 7, 2025. She sent at email to another postal facility asking them to investigate this issue and to reply to her email with their findings as soon as possible. Thank you Jennifer.”

“I arrived at Streamwood United States Postal Service. I went to my mom's house and my mom said please mail my box and also my mail. If customers bring boxes the staff will weigh the package and ask customers is there any valuables inside the box. The staff will offer a receipt and on the receipt will show where the package is being delivered.”
“This location honestly deserves a higher rating. I've primarily used the 2600 Oak St in the beginning since I live closer to that one, but every time it was the worst experience I've ever had in customer service. The clerk who works at this location is very nice and knowledgeable. Absolutely no issues when I come here. I can't recommend this location enough. I've recently been doing a lot of eBay shipments and it's always a smooth process when I come here.”
