    “I came in to get a script for my dad who is a veteran. From the pharmacy. The script was messed up no quanity on it. The VA was not organized like usual. Andrew took the time & patience to contact the right people & get the script filled. Took about 30 minutes but was worth the weight. Need more people like this to go above & beyond!”

I had forgotten important medication back home in Colorado—medication that could have become life-threatening if I went even a few days without it because of the serious side effects of stopping cold turkey. I called this pharmacy from three states away, explained my situation, and they immediately took care of filling the prescription. I was able to pick it up the very next day when I arrived in town, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Since my insurance would not cover the medication, they found an RX pay card that made it affordable, which I truly appreciated. Constance helped me, and she was absolutely wonderful—kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. I am very thankful for this pharmacy and the care they showed me. The only small challenge was the automated phone system, which occasionally looped me back when I tried to reach the pharmacy directly, but that did not take away from the excellent service I received.”

Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
