“Thankfully there is a Kayla and the most awesome pharmacist that work here. I don’t know the pharmacists name but she’s beautiful and kind and helpful. My son had to have a rapid Covid test for surgery and she made sure I received the results quickly. And then Kayla always goes above and beyond to make sure I get my prescriptions. Because of these two women, I’d never go anywhere else!”

“Wide variety of grocery items for sure. I have to admit this was always my go to store but with the continued rising costs at grocery stores I now hit Aldi first for some basic produce, etc. With Walmart right across from Aldi that's my next stop. I price compare Walmart prices to Meijer. Whoever has the lowest price wins. A majority of the time I find Walmart slightly cheaper. However I'm very particular with regards to many of my choices and Meijer has many items I cannot get anywhere else so I still highly recommend Meijer overall.”
“This Meijer is very clean, the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. I’ve never had any issues with items being out of stock. The produce is decent most of the time, but I feel like that’s everywhere and depends on the day of the week if it’s picked over. They’re very kid friendly and offer stickers at check out when shopping with littles.”

You all continue to uplevel care and exceed expectations for ultra thorough, double-checked accuracy and above and beyond brand compatibility with my allergens. The pharmacists excel in patient consultation for prescription needed medication - instructions & expertise shared in detail. The technicians are very adept administering vaccines. Recently, information was provided to me about an updated pneumonia strain vaccine alert to discuss with my primary care physician, as well as an outstanding vaccine on my radar. Insurance coverage is maximized full throttle. Alternative prescription medications are recommended by pharmacists for full insurance coverage, when needed. Thank you all so much!”

When one of my medications wasn't in stock, she took the time to call other locations. At my last pharmacy, it was my responsibility to call different pharmacies to see if they had my medicine in stock. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her patients. “Prices are high but that's to be expected at Walgreens some things are the same price as Jewel-Osco like milk sometimes and it's a whole lot quicker to get in and out then the bigger stores plus evening staff that works there seems to be a whole lot nicer than the daytime people which makes it a bigger plus to go at night.”

I cannot recommend this Genoa Healthcare pharmacy enough. I recently had a medical emergency and was feeling completely overwhelmed, but the team here, especially Batool and Sara, were absolutely incredible. They were so patient, kind, and acted quickly to help me get what I needed. They turned a really bad day around for me.
But it's not just about emergencies. Every single time I go in or call, they are friendly, understanding, and treat you with dignity and respect. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they help. The pharmacy is understaffed. But the staff they do have are incredibly helpful and kind and considering how overwhelmed they are.... I applaud them. Any complaints about this store and you should take it to corporate because these people are going above and beyond ?”
“I’ll tell you what, these people are the hardest working people I know (Walgreens Pharmacy specifically.) They are so busy during all business hours at this place, I don’t know how they have time to breathe. I have seen and heard so many rude, classless people yelling at them from their cars. It’s nauseating. They have worked out countless insurance issues for me and always are extremely helpful and professional. Give these people a break!!!!!!! Imagine a job that you’re always on your feet entire shift, and get rude people yelling and screaming like petulant children from their cars. Have some class and patience.”

“I had to get my tonsils removed yesterday and the person who has been helping me at the pharmacy has made the experience so much easier. His name is Abdalla (apologizes if this is not spelled correctly) but he was so kind, polite, and so incredibly helpful in every way. I have several chronic illnesses and have spoken to probably over 70 different pharmacy technicians over the years and he has the most composure, best customer service attitude, and the kindest voice of anyone I've ever spoken to. He was incredibly helpful in aiding me in getting my medication filled and I cannot express how truly grateful I am for his help. I know the job isn't easy, as I've worked retail and fast food. People can be unkind on both ends, however Abdalla doesn't seem to he one of those people. Thank you for making this easier for me, and for making my day better in a time where I am in pain. I wish you the best success in life, and I hope there is a promotion or a raise for this man at some point in the near future. He deserves it 110%.”

“The Sugar Grove Jewel-Osco location is always clean and tidy. The staff are recognizable and kind. Carts feel clean and don't squeak. The layout of this store though? Elite. Everything feels like it's where it should be, I'm not circling 3 different cooler areas and end caps searching endlessly for sour cream. Another reason I love this store is how quick the deli is. Never more than a few minute wait, whereas I've taken a number and waited half an hour (yes half an hour) at 3pm on a Tuesday at other locations (*cough* Batavia).Now... the bagging... let's work on that guys. If I wanted nachos, I wouldn't be buying tostadas. I'd also prefer to get my bread home without a Gatorade indentation in the side. Not worth deducting a star since it's not always the case, but many of them could use some improvement.”
