“There are no words to express how full of gratitude I am with Dr.Tracee Friederich. I stumble into this animal hospital based on desperation and one comment read on Facebook of their experience. I arrived at around 8:30 to see 40-50 people already in line waiting patiently to be seen by them. It was truly worth the long wait (close to 6 hours). I came here seeking a new set of eyes for my yorkies issues. She listened and took note of my long narrative, looked at his previous bloodwork and we saw her take action. She did not beat around the bush and went straight to the action plan that she fully explained. She made my dog feel at home which gave us reassurance. She truly cares about her patients and their parents. I am beyond blessed and lucky to have gone here this morning, it was by no coincidence.

“Was able to get my cat in right away in an emergency situation, and they were willing and able to deal with a very frightened semi feral cat. Tailored her care plan for her situation (cat allows limited touching, can not be pilled, etc). Followed up promptly afterward with test results, and worked with me to find a plan for a less stressful return visit.”

“The best vet experience we've had since moving home to Chicago from LA in 2020. We started at the Ravenswood location and then moved over to the Logan Square location. Been bringing our 2 dogs here for a couple years now and so pleased with everything about this spot!
Previously tried another vet in Lincoln Park, but they were not compatible with our anxious german shepherd mix. Once we found BLVD, we were golden. Everyone on staff is so caring, gentle, and patient. They take the extra 5 minutes making sure your dog is comfortable and relaxed before starting the exam. This made all the difference with our anxious pup and we were finally able to have a successful vet visit, after multiple failed attempts over the years.
Can't thank them enough. They sincerely love animals and it's evident in the way they approach and treat each animal. Can't imagine ever going to another vet.”
“Was on the hunt for a new vet for my senior dog and my other adult dog as the vet we were taking them to was very far away. Dr. John and his staff were so helpful. I admired the care that Dr. John used when assessing both of my dogs during their appointments. I recently came in for an appointment and Mikey kept it very real with me and was very gentle with my senior dog. Appreciate everyone here and so happy we found a new vet hospital!”
“Dr. Brar is a friendly, knowledgeable, and well-rounded veterinarian. He has taken care of both of my cats, who are 12 years apart, and has provided excellent advice and care for both of them. “I have been bringing my dog and cats to Dr. Dahl for about 10 yrs and Iove the kind, compassionate people that work there especially when you have to make the difficult decision to send your family member to heaven which I made that decision for my 21 yr old cat this past June. Dr. Dahl listens and answers all your questions so you know what's going on with your pet. Dr. Dahl is a wonderful vet as are her people. Highly recommend!”

“Love love love Doctor Casey. She is very gentle with my reactive dog. She has been taking care of him since Jan/Feb of 2025. He has had 3 surgeries and she is the only one I trust with my fur baby. Love the receptionist Becky, she has very understanding when it comes to my fur baby with him being reactive she always makes sure no one is in the lobby or bring us in a room ASAP. Highly recommended this animal hospital!”

“I adopted a puppy that was staying at a foster with her litter mates & the foster persons other pets. Before we took her home on 3/1/26 I made an appointment for 3/18 to have her looked over & discuss preventative health plan. On 3/3 the office contacted me to see if I could come in earlier on 3/4, which I did. We met with Dr Sebek and the following day she called to tell me my puppy had 2 parasites found in her fecal sample (hook worm & heart worm). That same day I went back & they gave me medicine to give her for the next 6 days & our follow up appointment was made for 3/25. Im happy to say, no more parasites found. Dr Sebek & all the vet techs were awesome & gave me some good tips & info since this is my first dog. Im so glad I did my research prior to adopting & found an excellent veterinary clinic that will give us the best care. Im so grateful they reached out with an earlier appointment.”
“For ten years I’ve taken my dog to a vet but he moved 2 hours away. So I found this hospital in my town. I’ve seen Dr. Senese twice and she is very knowledgeable and professional. She is so knowledgeable about what medicines work. I took him in for severe runs and she gave such amazing medicine that no other vets ever have. He was feeling so much better with the medicine she prescribed. Today I went for my dogs injured paw and there was a new vet I haven’t seen Dr. Balcazar and she was so compassionate and the first time my dog opened up to a vet for pets besides the one he knew since he was a puppy. He let her examine his paw and even feed him a pup cup which he’s never accepted from anyone before :0 Dr. Senese was so kind and gave some advice on what to do for his paw as well. Theres also a male vet tech who is compassionate as well that my dog really opens up to and allows to be held by when he needs his blood work. They are so compassionate m and really great at what they do. Also my dog is a 90lb Olde/American Bulldog and others vets usually get intimidated, but not here. I highly recommend you take your dogs to Suburban Animal Hospital.”
