“It was so nostalgic to be in a Barnes & Noble. It was clean, well organized, had lots of variety, and the customer service was great. I never want to order a book from the internet again now that my favorite bookstore has re-emerged. I missed the experience of seeing and touching the books, wondering from isle to isle letting a topic or theme I wouldn't normally pay attention to cat h my eye. I can't wait to take my nieces and nephews. It also was family friendly and had lots of parking.”
“10/10 library lots of books I get all my books here and the workers are always nice to me and my sister when we go there, they also have a subscription which gives you discounts on books its really great ever since we found this store our library expanded tenfold!”
“I've been here a few times now. Lovely store with a large stock, good hidden-gem finds (such as the many Funko Pops I've collected over a long while), and great atmosphere. The place is moderately quiet with a bunch of shelves with books, DVDs, CDs, records, comics, toys, and games. As far as seating goes, there doesn't seem to be much other than a few chairs at the entrance, but I may have overlooked. The check-out counter is stocked nicely with cute trinkets and bookmarks.”
“This is the BEST bookstore ever! The folks who work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If they don't have a book in, they will order it. Great selection of new and used books!”
“Seemed like a really solid neighborhood comic shop.Owner knew his stuff and knew half the people coming through the door by name. Had 3 separate hiccups in my purchase, but felt like a bad coincidence. Not my neighborhood, but bet it'd be cool to be a regular here.”
“Visited for 1st time during their Tiny Stage love edition for Valentine's weekend. Lovely place. Friendly staff. Vast array of titles. The event was well attended. Great vibe.
The negatives? Prices were not reflected on many of the merchandise items; I had to repeatedly request prices. A little disorganized. Some of the items were a bit pricey. ? Bookmarks were about 6 bucks.
Overall, a very nice experience with a lot of networking opportunities for positive, Black peeps. Plan to return for future events.”
