“I have been coming to the clinic for a long time and I am pleased with then doctors and staff that have seen me and my children..now adults. The doctors are very kind, caring and supportive and they will help you on all your health needs.”
“Dr Elvove was a great doctor; patient and one of very few doctors to take the time and care to assist women in choosing home births. He delivered 2 of my 4 children, at home, successfully. That was years ago, but I just wanted to get a good word in for him. AND for Dr. STARKMAN, who took over his practice. I'm very happy with Dr. STARKMAN. Great care, wonderful assistance and personal care and treatment, for years I've been going to him. Thank you.”
“I accidentally confused my appointment dates and would not have been able to come back on the date it actually was and Carlos, from One Medical in Deerfield, immediately accommodated me and helped me get an appointment without having me have to come back. He was so understanding and helpful and I am so thankful I was able to see the doctor when I did because I don't have the best of health and mobility is an issue and Carlos understood this. I am not used to receptionists at doctor office's being so considerate and kind and competent but Carlos was all of these things, and at One Medical that's all I've experienced. Transferring my healthcare to One Medical was the best decision I ever made for so many reasons and Carlos is the perfect example of why.”

Greatly appreciated the social worker Marvetta for all her assistance, Dr Stringer, Angel, Joanna, the PT, OT, the financial dept staff, and the day and night shift nursing staff, Pinkly, Zuzanne, Kasha, Ron, and Linda for taking such excellent care of my dad while he was in the long term care the past two years.”
“I have been seeing Dr. Ginzburg for many years. I think he is a fabulous doctor! He listens to what I am saying and is thorough. I will continue to use him for as long as I can.”
“I adore Patricia Czarnecki, APN-CNP who went above and beyond to help me with my rabies titer testing and Lyme testing (hazards of the day job). She listened intently and had a wonderful sense of humor. Greatly appreciate her!”
“Great experience as a first timer with Dr Man. The staff was very kind and helpful. I especially loved how Dr Man took her time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options . I highly recommend her”
“I recently had my first visit in this hospital and it was a delight. They immediately made me feel very comfortable and it felt as if they had been my doctor for years. I am very happy to have found a primary care physician that I feel I can trust and connect with.”
“Not sure what the deal is with all of the poor reviews. I've been going here prior to the renovation (~around 2020). Before and after have been good experiences. I've also been to multiple other NCH facilities, all with good experiences.”
“The physician who saw me today for a routine check up went above and beyond. Dr. Doss was unhappy to hear that a previous prescription I had was unaffordable for me, so she took extra time to find an alternative but equally effective prescription option. She also was very attentive in asking about my family history and took extra care after learning that I was adopted to make sure she had an understanding that I was aware of paying attention to any possible inherent conditions and gave me not negative responses, but positive encouragement to stay on top of my health. Social distancing was in full swing at the Deerfield office, and the desk attendants were very diligent in directing patients as such.”
“This review is for the dermatology services offered at 1051 W Rand Rd. Title: A good dermatology clinic plagued by availability issues. Review: The office staff are friendly, the dermatologists are very nice providers and more often than not treat the right condition. Skin conditions being complex it's often a game of cat and mouse til the root cause is found and cured. That game of cat and mouse is made far harder in this office because of availability problems. I can't blame them for having such a short list of dermatologists in this clinic. If you have relatively basic needs and time isn't critical and you're heavily connected to the NCH team then this clinic should do fine for you. If you have little connection to Northwest Community Hospital (my primary doc is out of Advocate. I barely use NCH services aside from emergency and immediate care. I was sent here by immediate care) then you'll probably be better served by a private fully staffed dermatology center. As this is not that. NCH dermatology is a small sub specialty within their specialty services. I would have kept the doctor on my treating staff if his availability wasn't plagued by overscheduling. They're clearly understaffed and the office has a hall of rooms as far as the eye can see yet availability problems will have you waiting weeks or more for an appointment. If time is of an essence and you need high availability, go to a dermatology clinic that does nothing but dermatology because this place is way too busy. The office is clean and the waiting area accommodates plenty of people with social distancing. Front desk staff are nice and when you can get an appointment they see you on time every time. If getting an appointment wasn't a hop on a waiting list ordeal I'd give them five stars but because the hospital can't be arsed with having more dermatologists on staff I have to dent them a star on the rating. NCH medical group, y'all should know better by now and stack the hall with dermatologists. Competing clinics are easily taking patients away from NCH. If you want to financially survive you gotta spend money to make money and NCH clearly isn't doing that. Although clean the office is dated looking, older decor and cabinetry are evident of the executive staffs ignorance to invest in more clinicians and a better working environment for them. The clinicians aren't the problem, the executives and management are.”
“Everyone that works there is so kind. They talk to you like a real person and take the time to help you. I can tell these people really care about the patients and the work they do.”
