I called this store all because I wanted to know if they have the machine that let's you insert money in to it and pay your bill that way. It took such a long time just to speak to someone and I didn't even get the chance to talk to someone because I was waiting on hold almost half an hour. This is exactly why I stopped coming here in the first place who ever is running this place isdoing a TERRIBLE job. All that time wasted to one simple question and I didn't even get answer. DO BETTER.

Not a review of the store. Their cell service is trash all around this store. Probably changing service in the near future.

Waited 40 min to get serviced, just so Sawyer could waste my time. He said that some lines could be upgraded and until I asked if plans would stay the same, only then he mentioned that some plans would have to change to more pricier plans, without providing details on that. I asked him to write things down for each line, but he didn't feel like doing so, not to mention that he kept yawning our entire conversation. What a waste of time. Hire someone who cares.

I went to the store thinking it would take a long time to get service. Karla the manager met us right away. She asked why we came and after telling her she explained our options and impacts which was very helpful. She estimated the wait time and happily it was less. The best part was she and one of the assistants Edwin went above and beyond assisting me by explaining features and functions on my phone and answering all my questions. I would highly recommend this store under Karla's management.

The worst Verizon experience I have ever had. Have this store chance three times. Each time there was a problem. Wait time is always forever even if they’re one customer before you. They are not very attentive, polite. Much to improve for good customer service.

Exceptional service from John and Glenn! My phone needed a complete set-up and required other issues to be solved. John - who I noted is also a serviceman, so I thank him for his service, was incredibly patient and helpful. He spent a good 45 minutes with me, helping me sort out some issues I was having with the old SIM card and restoring service. In my opinion he did an excellent job and organized a complete mess for me! Both John and Glenn are patient and very helpful. Many thanks to them both for going above and beyond. And Verizon? Keep hiring people like those mentioned above, and you will have many, many more satisfied and return customers. I highly recommend Verizon in Vernon Hills!

My son graduated Navy bootcamp on Sept 8, 2023.. went in this verizon store to get him a new phone. He picked an 1 phone 14, a case, and a charging block. The employee swiped our debit card... then a few mins later said there was a problem. Called the manager, Karla over... she told us that the transaction did not go through. I checked our bank account and the over $1,100 transaction DID go through and I showed her. She said that the transaction did not remove the phone from the stores inventory.... so that they could not give us the phone... although we had paid for it. I asked her to just refund our money...and she said she couldn't. She said that in 3-4 days the charge would drop off of my bank account like it never existed.I expressed deeper concern about thus.. bc that's a lot of money and we are NOT from that area. It took us 2 flights to get there...and we were flying back our the next day and my son wad being deployed. She said she would notate my verizon account that this happened, and that in the strange instance the charge didn't fall off, I could call verizon and be reimbursed.I then drove to an Apple store and purchased and paid for another phone and we were all set with a phone. Here we are ... Sept 18th and the charge on my bank card DID go through and my money is gone!I have called verizon support non stop and spent HOURS trying to get reimbursed. They keep asking for a receipt so that they can reimburse me.. problem is, I was NOT given a receipt! It wasn't a "fully viable transaction" therefore we weren't offered a receipt!This whole situation just blows my mind. How can a company of such magnitude takes such an amount of money from a customer, refuse to give them the product they just paid for...and refuse to reimburse them!I've had 4 different verizon support agents trying to reach this Vernon Hills location directly, and none of them have succeeded in getting anyone to answer the phone to try and get this resolved. I have tried endlessly to contact them.I want my money back!!!This is thievery!!! Shame on you!

We went here after my son graduated from the navy to get new phone. They talked us into all 4 getting one plan with the promise that the phones were free and the bill would be around what we were paying before switching. They lied! Our bill for 4 lines is almost $500!!!! None of the stuff they said was free. They added stuff we didn't ask for. My feeling is they new we were leaving to go back home and they wouldn't have to deal with us when the first bill hit.I've called Verizon to get my bill corrected. They say they put in a slip for it but I have yet to see changes. We will be changing carriers as soon as possible!My son who signed over his life to protect his country was screwed over by this store while in uniform! Thats just really sad!

I would like to thank Glenn at the Verizon Store in Vernon Hills for his outstanding customer service and his expertise in helping my boss, Elliot Pinsel in finally replacing and setting up his new cell phone. Mr. Pinsel has been putting off the trade in for years. He was elated to discover how fast and easy Glenn made the port out, and was able to migrate information from the broken phone to the new phone quickly.

Kendra the manager is amazing...I hope that is the right name...I purchased a new phone from a differnt location but had a few issues that she fixed without me having to wait ...she is very nice and helped me tremendously...Kudos to Kendra!!!

I switched to AT&T! I was a long time customer of Verizon(18+years), however when it came time to upgrade phones on my family plan it became clear Verizon valued new customers more than existing customers. The staff at the store are extremely limited in what they can do to help. Everything is very prescribed and scripted. Don’t go there expecting any big breakthrough. It’s too bad Verizon took this approach because I moved my family plan to AT&T and received 4 new iPhone 14’s and pay less every month. Better deal for me but I was willing to stay if Verizon provided phones. They didn’t so I left. Verizon didn’t “hear me now.”

Checked in and was told it would be an hour. Went to whole Foods next door and had a few beers. The bar there is great! Erin is a phenomenal bartender and good thing because 2 hours later still no call from Verizon. Do yourself a favor, skip the Verizon store and just go have a beer at whole foods. Then find a different Verizon store for your needs.
