“Because I have limited experience with auto body shops I wasn't sure what to expect. I leaned heavily on reviews such as this one. I made an excellent choice with Platinum Auto Body in Volo. Rob and Lillian could not have made me more comfortable with the process short of chamomile tea and a foot rub. They walked me through the steps and kept me informed the whole time. I was expecting three or four weeks, they finished the repairs and returned my car spotless and perfect in 7 days. In a perfect world I will never need an auto body shop again but that is not the world we live in and these people will be my first call and I recommend they are your first call.”

“I was 10 mins out on my 1 hour commute to work on a Friday evening, and my car starting bumping, and my check engine light came on. OMG I had a 3 night work weekend at the hospital ahead of me and this comes up now! What am I going to do??? It was 5:03 pm. On the chance that Ken might still be there at LG Auto, I called, and he answered. I explained my dilemma, and he went above the call of duty and helped me out. He waited 10 mins for me to slowly bump my way to the shop. He gave me a loaner car (free) to use until my car got evaluated and fixed on Monday. My repair bill was $316 and I was on my way, problem free. LG auto is absolutely the best place I've ever taken my car. The service is personalized and exceptional.”

“I have an excellent experience having my front tires replaced at this Mavis location. The customer service from Noah was truly exceptional. He was very helpful in showing me all the options and very knowledgeable in letting me know the pros and cons of each selection. He even addressed the possible cause to my tire’s unusual wear. Now a days it is hard to find quality knowledgeable service. I found one today with Noah at Mavis in Crystal Lake.”

“December 2022 -> felt my car bouncing from the back left while driving. Thought I popped a tire or completely damaged my suspension. Struts back struts needed to be replaced because they were the original/factory parts and were basically giving way.Spring 2023 ->front struts replaced because back ones were and both times, car was ready to go like that.July 2023 -> heard a hissing/squealing noise from under the car. New brakes I got in January 2022 were failing because I did quite the amount of driving. Front brakes needed to be replaced first. Brakes replaced quick and easily.September 2023 -> check engine light came on again. Thought I had more misfires with my coils. smoke test was done to be safe since I need an emissions test this year (hence the check engine light). Turns out the EVAP canister (original/factory part) needed to be replaced. Rear brakes needed replacing as well. Rear brakes replaced, smoke test done, an oil change was needed for me as well. Had to come back the next week because the EVAP canister that was ordered wasn’t the correct one. Immediately ordered a new one and the correct one is in the car, working like a charm.Long story short, you need your car fixed, call this shop ASAP. Quick to problem solve and deal with the situation at hand. I can’t thank them enough for keeping my 2005 car running to this day and always helping in general when maintenance is needed.”

“On February 26th I stopped at the Midas at 888 S Rand Rd to see if they would be able to attach my new license plates.Joe helped me and he was so nice and friendly. I live in Schaumburg but will definitely drive to this midas in Lake Zurich for an oil change or anything else I may need. It's worth the drive.I highly recommend this location!”
“URW is by far the most well put-together and professional performance oriented shop I've ever seen and/or had experience with. I had a good amount of work planned to be done at the shop and Ben was quick to provide me a tour when I first visited. The shop is so clean, staff is all very professional, and the overall feeling you get after a short time of interacting with them is that you will be 100% taken care of. The high-dollar cars and complexity of the scope of work being done in that shop speaks volumes as far as what other customers are entrusting the shop with as well, which certainly helps show that they know what they are doing and can be fully trusted. Rates are super fair, work is done quickly and efficiently, and the daily customer communications were all some of the top reasons for my 5 star review, but the overall experience and the work they did was top-notch. Can't recommend URW enough and will definitely be going back!”

“In a day and age where reviews seem to be handed out to companies like so many tickets to the fair, it is a rare thing to behold a reputable company deserving of a 5 star review! Collision Solutions is definitely a company that should get 6 stars, were it possible! When I first brought my car in to get it checked, Hal, showed his wealth of knowledge in dealing with the insurance companies. Hal questioned me as to my policy and showed me where the other guys were just going to install an after-market part on my new 2019 VW Beetle ConvertibleFinal Edition! He assisted in obtaining the correct parts for my car. He questioned the estimate from the other company that I showed him, where they were not going to put OEM parts on my car! He contacted the insurance company and showed them where they were mistakenly swapping out after market parts in stead of OEM and got the correction taken care of immediately!Hal and his crew received my VW Beetle on a Wednesday at 10 am and by Friday it was a completed job! I didn't even have to call for a rental as Hal set everything up before I even got there. Not only did these guys do a fantastic job on the outside, but vacuumed and cleaned the inside as well so that when I received my car back, I was just overjoyed that it looked so absolutely brand new! “Great work done by great people. It's so hard to find decent, honest people who work with cars in any capacity nowadays, but these guys are just that. Had the back end of my car smashed up, and a bunch of hidden damage was uncovered. A lot of shops probably would have turned me down, and my claim would have likely been dropped. They really came through, and you would never guess I'd been hit. I'd direct anybody who needs/wants body work done here. It'll definitely be my go-to spot if I ever get hit again.Services: Painting”
