“While traveling cross country (with a dog) for a family emergency in August with record high temperatures, our AC started failing. After looking at the Google reviews, we chose Parker's, and though Dave and his crew were very busy, they still took us right in and were amazing!!!!! They found a leak, went to get the correct part, and recharged the system so we had cold air again for our trip. Dave and all the staff we dealt with were so kind and helpful. The shop is just a few miles out of town, but it was well worth driving a couple minutes. We were so grateful to have found them and to have experienced truly exceptional customer service. “I purchased new tires at Wes Roger's Tire several months back. About a week later, I ran over a bolt somewhere and my tire went flat on the Interstate. I took it to Wes's and it was fixed under warranty and they put it back on my vehicle for me, no charge. This past week I ran over some kind of thick gauged twisted wire, similar to that in a chain linked fence, with both ends in the same tire they fixed before. They told me it was still under warranty and they would fix the tire. Upon further inspection, they discovered the tire was irreparable and had to be replaced. They ordered and replaced my tire free of charge under warranty, no questions asked! The staff is always great there. They really value their customers. I will never go anywhere else for tire service again in Mt. Vernon!”

“This place and Rick were heaven sent! I was traveling to St Louis from Paducah KY, to take my special needs child to the hospital for an important visit when my vehicle decided to overheat. We called one place they turned us down immediately and we called Heffners and even though they were closing, they told us they would help. Not only did they help during their closing time after a hard, long day, they also had a part delivered immediately within minutes and blessed us by doing the work for no charge just to see my sweet baby make it to his Doctor appointment. I cannot begin to express how much of a blessing it was to have such kindness shown. I lost my father very recently and he has been the only other person to show this extreme kindness as Rick and his coworkers here have and it is truly amazing to see there are honest, kind, godly people left in this world. I will drive out of my way from now on if I ever need major repairs to give them my business. I could never thank them enough for not leaving us stranded and struggling. They also called later to make sure we made it to our destination. Thank you Rick and the rest of you all, I will truly never forget what you did for me, I truly mean that.”

“A deer hit my car and left me with some bad front-end damage. I took my car to a couple places for estimates but wisely chose Sesser Auto Body. From the beginning Tim and Jodie were excellent about communicating and making sure I was happy. I was concerned because of the lead time. But they patched up the car and made it operational. They kept me informed of the process and met my deadline. I am so incredibly happy I went with them.My car is better than before the accident. And I felt they were very fair with pricing. They even detailed my car beautifully. I will choose them every time I have a body need. Thank you Tim, Jodie, and the detailers.”
“Our car died on a road trip back from Denver to Atlanta at the truck stop in Ina, IL. We had the car towed to Allsopp and they unfortunately informed us the engine was done for, and we ended up having to pay to ship it back to the dealer in georgia. We were stuck there for about 4 hours waiting for a cab to take us to a car rental 70 miles away, and the guys running the shop were some of the most welcoming and friendly folks I've ever dealt with, even offered us cold bottled water while we waited without us asking, and didn't charge us a penny for the diagnosis. Clearly honest and trustworthy people that made our nightmare situation a little more comfortable. You really don't come across people like this often these days and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality.”
“Was traveling through town on a work trip, using my personal car and the water pump went out. This didn’t seem like a big deal, as I have changed water pumps out before, but this particular car almost requires you to disconnect the engine entirely. Joe was the only one in town that was even willing to look at my car on short notice, and all the other places, it would be two weeks at the earliest. After the parts came in Joe got to work and got me back on the road as soon as possible. If I was anywhere close to his shop, he would become my regular mechanic for sure. He was very pleasant, and honest throughout the whole ordeal .”

“I have only dealt with Roger so far but it seems like this is the shop for my 68 Mercury Cougar it's got a bunch of little bugs that need to be worked out that I tried to get done last year with a different shop so I'm really hoping that these guys will take care of the problems I will update this post after my car is finished”
