TLDR: save yourself the trouble and go to Menards.
Usually I have good experiences during the day. But WOW!!! what a 180 in the evening. Early in the day I had bought 8 nuts and bolts. One of each turned out to be a bigger size so I take the bolt and nut back figuring if I just restock the larger/more expensive nut and bolt and grab the correct size that I had originally paid for, we would be even. That's not how the kids working there saw it. 20 minutes and 11 cents later I had the parts I originally purchased. That was time making me late for my child's sports.

The employees of Nena's Ace Hardware in Washington, Illinois, went over the top with amazing customer service. During a recent trip to this store when I had a specific problem to solve, both young people still learning and an employee named Mike gave customer service like it used to be. They went beyond all expectations to help. I will be sure to shop here in the future.
