My husband and I stayed here for Bradley University’s freshman orientation. It was a 20 minute drive to the university. I am so in love with this unique place! Our room and private bathroom were spacious and super clean! The architecture is beautiful. We loved the mix of old and modern. It was weird at first having no front desk staff, but we texted as instructed in the binder (and the personal envelope left for us) to request a few extra things. Within 30 minutes of texting, a lovely woman showed up and knocked on our door with our requested items! A fun surprise that I have honestly never seen at any hotel was the desk lamp/Bluetooth speaker! It wasn’t publicized, but I noticed that the lamp had Bluetooth capability. So, we connected and played music our whole visit! We had drinks and Butch’s pizza the first night downstairs at the W Down Under. Great bar with specials every day. Everyone was really friendly. We ended up down there our 2nd night too! There is also a coffee shop within the same building called faire Coffee. I ordered coffee online via toasttab and my husband picked it up (he only had to walk a few steps to the floor below us). Cute place and great coffee! This hotel has it all! We already have reservations here for future trips and can’t wait to come back and take more time to explore all the shops in the area. Prices for the hotel, bar, and coffee shop were all very reasonable.

This is really a lovely place. Our room was spacious and super clean. I do have a disappointment, though. Since this is considered to be boutique hotel, I would expect a couple of things: 1. real people to greet and welcome and be available for questions and service. I saw not one person. 2. Better than pre-packaged mini-muffins in the breakfast nook AND they ran out of coffee cups, but there was no one to ask for help. (And yes, I saw the message to text for help, but my point is it's a boutique hotel: Self-service is not really a boutique-hotel thing.) I loved the place, but I'd have to think twice about going back.

If you are looking to stay near Washington, Illinois, then select the Cornerstone Inn. Awesome boutique Hotel. The whole building has been renovated and the rooms are spacious and awesome. Cute historical town.

What a gem! This town is like stepping back in time…we even checked out all the antique stores on the square and had a blast. It is so quaint and quite lovely with the fountain in the center of the square. And there is a great restaurant walking distance from here —Tangled Roots(quite modern and excellent food), and a cool vibe local bar under the Cornerstone Inn called Down Under. You can’t beat this little area near Eureka and Peoria.

During a recent roadtrip, I searched for "coolest hotels in Illinois" to find a unique place to break up the trip. I found it! Cornerstone Inn was everything I needed—bright, clean, and full of character and warmth. I loved the bustling corner it's perched upon—and the friendly bar down below. Bed was super comfortable, ceilings are gloriously high, and Josie (the owner) is on top of it. This experience reminds me why I love small towns. I'd recommend and return in a heartbeat.

We had a thunderstorm & sirens one night of our stay. But otherwise enjoyed; big, beautiful & clean, liked the location (sans sirens, etc.) and great service. Though a hot breakfast was not served, a good variety was available.

We stayed while bringing our son to orientation at Eureka College. It was spacious and beautiful. It looked just like the photos that I had seen online. It was very peaceful. There is a bar underneath and coffee shop next door. I will definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel in a cute little town square. The hotel was easy to find, there was nearby parking and the room was so clean and nice. By far the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. The ceilings were so high and made the place feel big. It was so private we never saw or heard anyone else. I loved the coffee shop below as well. We have recommended this place to all our friends and family.

I travel all around the midwest for work. Whenever I am anywhere near this area I stay at Cornerstone Inn. I've stayed here about a dozen times and it has always been fantastic. It is always clean, the breakfast area always has extra amenities, and check-in is as easy as grabbing your key card from the front desk. The complaints are small and uncontrollable by the hotel; there's no good restaurants within walking distance and the road noise can be loud. Every room is unique and every room is terrific. I recommend this place to all my coworkers and everyone reading this.

Stayed at the Cornerstone Inn in Washington IL over the weekend while in town visiting family. It's located right on square close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery. Building is a historic building on the square renovated into a boutique hotel, coffee shop on main floor, and local bar/entertainment on the lower floor. There is a parking lot across the street as well as some other available parking locations around the square. Check-in was easy with keys waiting for customers. Rooms are nicely renovated and new. There is a continental breakfast available each morning consisting of pastries, coffee, yogurt, fruit, and cereals. There are also plenty of breakfast options around Washington. I would highly recommend the Cornerstone Inn. There are limited amount of rooms, so book early and in advance. One recommendation to make to the Cornerstone Inn would be to include directions on electronics/TV in room. With multiple remotes and possibly having to select which 'input', someone who is not very tech savy is going to have a hard time using the TV. Overall, a great stay and will return.

My husband and I have been here several times over the years- every time has been nothing short of wonderful. The only tiny complaint I noticed from this past weekends stay is that the bar that is in the same building can get loud, and they don’t close until 2AM. However, let the staff know and they not only let you borrow a white noise machine (super helpful) and call the bar and ask them to turn it down, which helped tremendously. We love it and will continue to come back! ?
