“REACH Rescue is honestly one of the best adoption centers we have ever experienced. They were so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and walked us through the entire process. Because most of the animals available are being fostered - they are socialized and so loving! You can tell all of the staff/volunteers lead with their hearts and take such good care of the animals. We happily adopted our first dog, Cedar, through them and will continue to support this amazing Rescue! ?”

“I've been driving to Crystal Lake for thirt stores for the last couple of years. WHAT A MISTAKE!! This store has it ALL and then some. It may look small from the front but it is HUGE! Name brand clothing some with tags, boots, hats, scarves, purses, etc. They even have a small Boho Chic area! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Wild Raspberry!!! I wish I would have taken pics, next time for sure!”
“Love this place! Happened to be travelling through the area and saw the signs on the Main Street, parking lot big enough for trailer turn around!Super friendly staff and great prices too!”
“We shop here a lot, weekly almost. Sometimes they will have some good finds. Often I leave empty handed. We have bought furniture from here at decent prices. Some kitchen stuff. A dress or two. Lately I feel like they could have more inventory, I don’t think it’s because they aren’t getting enough donations, I think it might be because they are a bit picky and refuse a lot of stuff or simply throw stuff away. I mean put it out there and see if it sells!
I bought a table set there, it was a bit raggedy, it only had three chairs. I re upholstered it. Tried to donate it back months later and they wouldn’t take it cuz it only had three chairs…. I bought it from y’all with three chairs! And I made it better with new fabric! Any ways, I took it to the pink door across the street. Meanwhile they had some funky, busted shelves, nails sticking out on all sides. Those needed to go in the trash!”

“I am a former resale shopowner and recovering shopaholic and I have not LOVED a resale shop like this in many years. I usually walk around resales and find nothing exciting. Everything here is only the best of what is donated. The furniture was beautiful and bargain priced. They had a lot of high end home decor. I bought candles and candleholders, a down throw, a winter coat, a large canvas picture, a book, a cd, 4 new or like new designer clothing items and with the discount it was only $100. More than I have found at a resale in many many years! There was a beautiful pair of living velvet living room chiars for only $49 each that I wish I had room for! A lot of the clothing was new with the tags on it. I bought a few designer tops that were upwards of $200 on poshmark and ebay for only $20, PLUS if your are over 62, you get 20% off everything on Tuesdays. I can't wait to treasure hunt here again and check out the other locations.”

“Absolutely adorable boutique style thrift store. However, when charging $5+ for a wooden children's puzzle, PLEASE cling wrap instead of tape them. This was the result after ten minutes of careful unwrapping. The back is just as bad. The entire thing is now trash. It had been in perfect condition.”
“Quality customer service doesn’t even cut it — this place makes you feel like a regular even if you’re from OOT. The first time I stopped in, I asked about a power tool that currently was not on the floor — the owner had overheard my conversation with another staff member and silently went in the back checking personal inventory and came out with one for GREAT value. Incredible. He had also mentioned calling the store so they can keep an eye out for items and will call you if they come in! I come regularly to check the flow of furniture and reno materials AND my chunky bulldog tags along too! ”
“This is my go to goodwill when buying puzzles. I went there today again and I found so many cheap and beautiful puzzles. I got four of them for only 14$! I even found a 4x500pc Disney puzzle set for only 5$! I also found a cool Disney figurine. I do have to say the clothes are a bit expensive but it’s organized very neatly in color order. I got this soft Victoria’s Secret hoodie/sweater for like 7$. We also got a couple of picture frames for a cheap price. The staff and service is fine as well.”
“I found a nostalgic nerf bow and arrow, lacrosse sticks, a couple bikes, and several books my daughter wanted. Process are higher than a thrift store should be, but I enjoy walking through it.”

“This is a quality resale store with helpful, friendly workers. They went above and beyond to help us find everything we were looking for. We look forward to more shopping adventures.”
“very nice staff but prices has gone up alot. thrifting is also to help people who can't afford certain item, not to pay retail price for used items. The prices starting to look like salvation army prices.”
“Love this place. I was looking for a bar cart and found a dry sink in great condition. The best part is, is that it was only $7.50! Very nice and organized store.”

“Great selection. Fair prices. I feel bad for the employees when I see customers being rude to them for no reason. I will keep shopping here for sure. The employees are hard working and always nice to me. I've been going here for many years- and those in town know me as one of the managers that opened up the McHenry goodwill. I shop both- they are both great stores.”

“I love coming to this good will, everything is clean and the staff are really nice. I always tend to find things that are really interesting and/or useful. Though I especially love looking through their movies, as they have such a large amount, that it ends up being an adventure of its own. While I tend not to and come out for the sole purpose of going to goodwill if I am in the area I will definitely stop by.”
“It’s obviously hit or miss since it’s a thrift store, and often you will find nothing near worth buying, but even when you don’t, it is still clean and well organized with helpful employees”
“The ladies here are amazing, and working for such a wonderful cause. All proceeds go to Informed Choices. As a new mother who has been able to join Informed Choices program, I feel so lucky to have received so much help and knowledge from them. Keep it up! You guys are awesome!!!”
