Cherie from the call center provided the best costumer service I have received during my 15+ year membership. She offered to assist me with establishling an internet banking account so I wouldn't have to call in to make payments. She then even walked me through the process and assisted me with my first external transfer. She was very professional and informative! As a result of the outstanding service received, Im moving more money to the credit union to take advantage of the CD promotion she made me aware of!

I had a problem using the ATM yesterday, not something I normally have trouble with. I went inside and was helped by two wonderful ladies Sydney and Jules. They were upbeat and helpful. Jules even went to the ATM with me and explained what I didn't understand. Come to find out Jules has only been employed there for 9 days! I couldn't believe she knew all she knew in that short a time. I have always referred friends to Consumers because of their outstanding service and these two ladies just reinforced that that is still true in a day when it is hard to fine good service anywhere. Thank you Sydney and Jules!

Their rewards checking program is very nice, and in the end they pay me ~$50 a month to bank there. However, their customer service has been steadily degrading over the last few years. I had an issue, contacted them over the phone, was advised how to fix it, went to a branch, and got a different response. Then I called again, go the same first response. Then I got a call from the branch, confirming the first response. Then the next day, got a call back saying they could not fix it anyway.Great auto loan rates, nearly the best rewards checking and smart saver rates, but if/when they discontinue those programs, I would be taking my business elsewhere.

It is time to open up your lobby. This is ridiculous. You have the worst drive up service around. Last week waited in line for an hour then teller wants to socialize with me. No I just want my deposit done. Now this week waiting a half hour so far. You also don't need to confirm my transactions and go over it with me. It is self explanatory! No I don't need another transaction! I would have put it in the tube! . No you shouldn't be waiting till my window goes down to do my transaction! It is cold out. Just do the transaction!. Seriously thinking about pulling all of my accounts out of here. Maybe the president doesn't care.

Ghost silence after submitting documentation and then received a canned email response saying they aren’t moving forward. This is despite being told they could certainly re-finance this type of vehicle. Don’t waste your time here.

It’s starting to be very ridiculous coming to the bank on a Saturday morning. I am so sick of the line back up to the door and only 2 tellers. It’s not that hard to find employees.

Terrible business practice and terrible customer experience.Refinanced my car with CU and it took the person MONTHS to not only complete my loan after endless amounts of calls with no resolution. Javier offered me a credit into my new account for the trouble, but NEVER saw that credit.Now as I called to pay off my loan, they took out TWICE the amount that I had authorized them for the loan!!

This place as of today August 23, 2021 some (Tellers) and People are still being allowed to not wear a mask! Don't you know there's a MASK MANDATE, or you just DON'T CARE!!! The teller basically tells me, it's up to them and us, really?! This place really has gone down the pitts, there's always a lack of tellers, attitudes, and full of UNPROFESSIONALISM!Get it straight, even if you are vaccinated or not, you are not immune from contracting COVID again! Let's do our part and show CARE for others and you learn to be a role model Business!Why is the Gurnee branch so different from this one, they are on top of their game, and this one in Waukegan lacks it all!

I got a direct deposit from work 2 days ago, and **** JUST DELTED IT. The whole check is gone, and they also erased it from my account activity log to make it seem like I never got a check in the first place. Now Im overdrawn because I used that check to pay bills before they took it.To kick things off, they botched my checking account when they set it up. So all my payments for the first weeks were reversed. Causing me to have to pay numerous late fees.Once I got that straightened out, I made 1 single **** payment. They promptly reversed the transaction, then locked my account.Its been well over a month, and I still cant pay bills. I talked to customer service, and they said theres nobody that can help me, and also its not their problem. The guy who set up my account in the bank location wont reply to my texts or answer my calls.

What a joke! Was told that i was getting a 3.74% rate and then was told I was denied as I had recent auto late payments. Well they have been removed due to accounting error, and *** STILL denied me because of it. So dumb.I wouldn't give them anything.. overrated."

I've had nothing but unpleasant experiences with this bank. I went negative 1 cent and got charged $30 fee. I wasn't able to use my account for 6 months or pay a fee to use it again, I waited the 6 months, tried to use my account and got told the same thing, this was several years ago. Got a car loan with them, finished paying it off, was told my title would be sent in 6 to 8 weeks, never received the title. I called to ask about my title, apparently they didn't send it because I owed them on an old credit card and wouldn't send it until I paid it off. I paid the balance because I am needing my title, only to be told I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to be released. Very inconvenient. Never banking with them again
