“I had such a great experience with Mushyface Cookie Co. at the Logan Square Farmer’s Market. The team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, not just toward my pup (who is a very large Great Dane), but toward me as well! They helped me find a treat for my dog & were very gracious and understanding about my discomfort handling it myself (vegan probs), even giving it directly to him so I didn’t have to. Small gesture, but it really meant a lot. My dog was absolutely thrilled with their selection, and they showed him so much love and attention while chatting with me about their own dogs too. You can genuinely tell this business is run by hardworking, caring people who truly love what they do. I really enjoyed spending time at their tent and would absolutely encourage others to support them at the market!”

“Owners went above and beyond to answer my questions about their food intolerance test before after after receiving results. Staff are friendly. I love that their dog food is small batch cooked on low heat. Trying it out for my dog's allergies. Thanks!”

“Pug and Hound Apothecary is far more than a place to shop. It is a carefully curated resource where high quality products and trusted knowledge go hand in hand. Krysta has built something truly special. She combines the heart and dedication of a small business owner with the clinical insight of an experienced vet tech who works alongside exceptionally skilled local veterinary professionals. That combination is rare. She continually educates herself and thoroughly researches every product she carries. I never have to second guess what I am buying. If it is in her store, I know it meets a very high standard. Her team helped me successfully transition my picky cat off kibble, which was no small feat. And when it comes to my soon to be 13 year old German Shepherd, I am incredibly selective. Krysta has been a knowledgeable and trusted resource as he ages, always willing to thoughtfully discuss options and offer well researched recommendations when I have questions or concerns. The expertise, care, and intentional product selection here truly set this business apart. You can feel the difference the moment you walk in.”

“I visited Two Bostons at Market Meadows in Naperville this morning. I came in to shop for my dog’s birthday. I had a great experience. The selection was good and service welcoming, knowledgeable about merchandise, and friendly. I signed up for their awesome rewards program. My dog loved his birthday cupcake and Happy Birthday Bone Biscuit! He enjoyed the turkey jerky stick, and adores his new Huxley & Kent rooster plush!”

“We’ve used Ruffner’s periodically over the years and recommended them to others. I don’t trust Zeke to just anybody! Zeke always comes home happy. I really appreciate that they know how he is doing when we call without checking. They seem to be “dog people” and that’s a good thing.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Kelsey! Finding safe food for my dog with severe food allergies has been an incredibly stressful process since her options are so limited. Kelsey completely turned that experience around for me. She spent a significant amount of time walking through every single selection possible, carefully checking labels, and providing the absolute best one-on-one customer service I have ever received for my baby. Her patience and deep knowledge were impressive, but what I appreciated most was the genuine compassion she showed for my situation. Kelsey went above and beyond to give me peace of mind. Coming from a General Manager myself, I know firsthand just how incredibly difficult it is to find good, hardworking employees like her. She is a valuable asset to your business and absolutely deserves recognition. If you need someone who truly cares and will take the time to help you, ask for Kelsey!”

“We found this great place to bathe our Beagle. We’re 80 so trying to bathe him at home is hard and dangerous. Here he walked up the ramp and into the bath. Great friendly staff and super convenient to use! Would highly recommend it”

“First off, the food is great. Obviously since you're here, and I do think it helped my beagle mutt mix live to a ripe old age of 17. Secondly, the staff has been fantastic in dealing with my changing standing delivery orders. Very accommodating. Always pleasant, overall a wonderful experience.”

“We’ve been taking our Luna Bear here for almost two years now and could not be more thankful to have found this place. Our pup is an old lady rescue and can be a bit cantankerous. We have had no issues and she’s always so fresh after her spa day and her trim is a perfect length.”

“We adopted 3 of our 4 cats from St. Sophia’s and had a wonderful experience each time. They have been very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone looking to adopt to go to St. Sophia’s. You can tell that they really love these kitties and put so much work into caring for them.”

“The best compliment I can share is the happiness and tail-wagging Nellie displays when she arrives. She is comfortable (and cooperative) with Emily and is always equally relaxed and happy when I pick her up. Appointment times run smoothly, so no long stretch in a crate for my Cavalier. She arrives home clean, expertly and minimally trimmed as requested. Her snarls disappear magically and not noticeably. A great cut appropriate and as true-to-breed as possible for a frisky home companion! Cost is reasonable and the staff sleays very friendly snd efficient. Thsnk you!”

“I went in today looking for treats for my cat. Kim was walking around and asked if we needed any help. She ran us through all the specific treats that would fit a cat with recent dental surgery and gave us a sample of something she thought may be beneficial as well. A very nice and helpful employee at a good store.”

“Let me just say this right out of the gate: Kiki’s Korner is one of those places that reminds you why shopping local still matters. From the second you walk in, it’s obvious this isn’t some big-box, soulless pet store where no one knows what they’re selling. This place is PACKED with thoughtfully chosen products—from high-quality food to treats, toys, and all the little extras you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. Everything feels curated, not random. Quality over junk. Always a win. And the staff? Absolute gems. Friendly, knowledgeable, and actually helpful—not the fake “let me pretend to care while I Google it” vibe. You can tell they genuinely love animals and know their stuff. Ask a question and you get a real answer, not a shrug. The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to browse without feeling cramped. You can take your time, look around, and not feel rushed or overwhelmed. It’s cozy in the best way—like a neighborhood shop that gets its customers. Honestly, this is the kind of place you end up telling people about unprompted. If you love your pets (and let’s be real, they run the house), this is absolutely a spot you want to support. I’ll be back again and again—and my pets are already voting yes. Highly, highly recommend. Five stars without hesitation.”

“Super friendly people, cool animals. Had a spicy kitten when we visited and it was noted on the crate. Just kinda funny. Rabbits roaming the store, that was cute. Some exotics, turtles, bearded dragons. Beef cheek non rawhide chews, dogs loving it right now. Got the blueberry one. Friendly staff as well. Nice place to visit.”

“I had a great experience at the Schaumburg Petsmart location the other day. The shelves were clean and pulled forward, easy to find what I needed very quickly. The staff especially Jennifer the cashier and Joe the other worker were lovely. I had trouble with an item being ringed in and they were super helpful throughout the process. These two were lovely and are phenomenal at their job. Thank you Petsmart Schaumburg for the good experience!”

“If I could give 10 Stars I would. Not only was the receiver looking for me first thing in the morning by coming outside to the tractor to meet me but they had me empty within about 20 minutes of bumping the dock. Very wonderful when people are diligent in their work and value your time! I hope continued success for this business and the team of workers.”
