“Our dog Kody is almost 13 and has a grade 4 heart murmur. His primary vet knew he needed dental care but referred us to VDC to do the procedure because of their superior expertise in dealing with his advanced care needs. Our first appointment was a consultation with Dr. Hassan. Our experience with the whole team was exceptional! The team spent extended time with me to explain the diagnosis, the range of potential needs during the procedure, and the associated cost range in detail. We scheduled the procedure with Dr. Juriga for two weeks after the consultation, which essentially went just as I had been advised during the consultation. Dr. Juriga actually reached out to me during the procedure to discuss a particular finding and his recommendation for path forward that he wanted me to know and concur with before proceeding. I took Kody home that afternoon with a detailed explanation of what to expect, what to watch for, and what to do in case of concerns. All in all, I’m so grateful for our primary vet’s referral because I truly believe Kody has had a better outcome to his condition as a result.”

“I was referred by a friend to this practice and I’m so impressed with the care and service we received. We drive out of our way from a distance and it is absolutely worth it. It is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the veterinarian (we see Dr. Tawnia Zollinger) provides excellent care to our older dog and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments. They follow up with a phone call the day after. It’s a calm environment and have never dealt with a waiting room full of other animals. Small details make a big difference- calming pheromone bandanas, classical music playing in the examinations rooms. All positive things about Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton!”

“Dr. Chang has been our family vet for over 14 years, and he has looked after all 3 of my cats from kittenhood until end-of-life. He treats both humans and animals like family, with attentive follow-ups and incredible responsiveness. During a blizzard in 2024, he immediately made time for me to bring in my cat who suffered a stroke. He does his utmost to ensure that my pets receive their medication on time, going as far as to approve a prescription when I bumped into him outside the clinic. When new conditions and treatment arise, he sits down with informative pamphlets to help clients understand what is happening to their pet, and what are the best options moving forward. One of my cats developed kidney disease, and Dr. Chang took the time to teach me how to administer subcutaneous fluids on my own at home. Thank you Dr. Chang for being their vet for their entire lives. Update: I am finally getting a new kitten, and I will be going back to Dr. Chang soon. One piece of advice I’d leave for everyone is to always advocate for your pet and to come prepared with questions, because sometimes we miss things because we were too overwhelmed to ask. But rest assured that Dr. Chang will always help you consider all the outcomes. ??”

“When my dog was attacked by a dog three times her size, we truly didn’t know whether she would survive. Thanks to the lifesaving care of the veterinary team at Bowes Animal Hospital, I still have my girl today. Bowes Animal Hospital was the closest clinic to our home on the night of the attack. It was only minutes before closing when we called ahead, but the team immediately put an emergency action plan in place. When we arrived, Dr. Cassie was waiting outside so they could rush my dog in for surgery without delay. Dr. Sunny, Dr. Singh, Cassie and Aldo, along with the entire team, sprang into action. They did everything possible to give her a chance and even stayed seven hours past closing to ensure she was stable enough to go home. At every appointment, they treated my dog with incredible compassion, patience, and determination. They kept us informed throughout the process, checked in on the days we weren’t there, and continued to follow up even months after her accident. These veterinarians are not only exceptional at what they do but also incredible human beings who genuinely care about the animals they treat. I will forever be grateful to Bowes Animal Hospital and the entire team for saving my dog’s life and giving me more time with my girl.”

Which really said a lot, and further solidified the trust I have in her and Knoll as a whole. “Could not have possibly had a better experience with Dr. Cook and his team. My five year old cat Pesto was having some serious health issues and needed an endoscopy. I was so lost with where to take her and am so glad I landed here. Not only was the price extremely fair for the procedure, but they were able to get Pesto in within a week. After weeks of going to various clinics and receiving many veterinary opinions (several of which did not make much sense), Dr. Cook was the first vet who I felt was giving me sound, logical theories about what was going on with Pesto without trying to grab extra money. After biopsies, we found out that Pesto has IBD and she has been responding exceptionally well to a dietary change ever since. I am so grateful for the care that Dr. Cook and his team provided - they were very thorough and they were all soooo sweet to my girl. She is generally not on her best behavior at the vet but this staff made her feel very at ease. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Thank you guys SO much!”

“Recently our dog hurt her leg and was limping very badly. Our regular Vet couldn't get her in that afternoon/evening or even the next morning. My son referred me to their Vet Clinic. Amazingly Fox Valley Veterinary Clinic was able to give us a same day 5pm appointment! The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Tab was great. The gentle but thorough exam he gave our Rosie was very reassuring. The Rimadol he prescribed really helped. Their fees were quite reasonable too. Highly recommend their services.”

Tragically, he pushed open the back door and when called home, he ran directly into a moving car and lost his life. The people at the hospital, Doctor to receptionist, could not have been nicer or more compassionate to us. They certainly went above and beyond for a new patient. In a world full of conflict, what a blessing it is to find good, caring people.”

“The staff are all wonderful and trust bringing my 3 dogs for care, just wish the pricing was a tad bit more reasonable, prices for nail trims when I started were $15.... now they are $28 - that's $13 more since a year ago... and that practically double :( I know/understand costs go up over time, but doubling in a year after changing mgmt/ownership??? - that would be my only complaint for loyal/long coming customers....”
