I cannot speak highly enough of the value of this museum. It is extremely inexpensive for the amount you receive. We got there at 1:00 and only walked through half by 2:30 and it closed at 3:00.We could have taken much longer but we started to realize that it was getting close. There is so much good information You literally have to stay at each section for 15 minutes or so to just really grasp the greatness of the sacrifice of these people.I can't wait to go see this again.Any pictures that anyone takes is only a minuscule version of what it's actually like to be in that space. It is completely immersive with war sounds in the background and tanks in front of you and pictures and maps and artifacts.I have two public folders on my Facebook account (RoseAnn Melcarek) that are for Cantigny if you want to see more pictures.

So parking was free as we use our military cac cars for entry. This place is great. It's super nice .the exhibits where cool and they had a few interactive simulators that my child enjoyed the tank park is pretty cool and I like how you can actually climb on them to take photos just be cautious. We even took it as far as checking out two of the gardens it was a little cool the day that we went but I would definitely revisit in the summer. As I would love to go down the bird trail they had. They where setting up the lights for the Christmas exhibit " Christmas at Cantigeny" I'm definitely coming back for that after 1 December which is the opening night.

Rating the Park itself is 5 stars but Bertie's Cafeis ok for snacks, beverages and the homemade soup was a 5 star. But the rest of the menu was not worth getting the grilled cheese was a panini type sandwich and the cheese melted over the side burned onto bread so the bread had a burnt taste to it same thing happen to a meat panini that another person had at our table.

Well worth it ?We are visiting this museum every year or two. Exhibits are very realistic, and there's a lot of it . Sound and lighting effects are very carefully selected to get a feeling that you're actually there, back in 20 century, during World War. Parking fee 30$ is reasonable, you can spend the whole day enjoying outdoors too. And don't forget about the real tanks that you can climb on ?

Attended the morning tour. Very educational. The grounds are beautiful! The indoor portion was awesome too. I was amazed at the setup and the interactive content! We'll worth the price of admission.

This place is absolutely stunning! Everywhere you look there is a beautiful view. There are so many gorgeous spots to walk around, sit, have a picnic at, etc. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff does a fantastic job of keeping the entire park clean and looking breathtaking. There are multiple gardens within this park that have different types of plants, flowers, herbs and veggies. These are to look at only. There are signs everywhere to say to not pick them or eat them. There are also tanks within the park as this is a park that was founded by a military vet. Lots of history and information here.It took about an a hour and 30 mins to walk around the entire park however I can see myself spending a full day here. It's so tranquil and beautiful.Tip - go during the week if you're able to. Parking is $5 during the week and gets up to $30 by Sunday. Oh! They are also dog friendly as long as you keep your fur baby on its leash =)

My first time to Cantigny Park. It's a huge facility, immaculately clean! We attended a concert by Modern English, a Beatles tribute band. Seating on the grass, bring your own blankets and lawn chairs! It's a very sunny field, with shade around the periphery. As a result, we were kind of far from the band, but the acoustics were good-we were able to enjoy the music. My only negative comments are about the traffic backlog at the entrance, and lack of parking assistance-send the cars to the overflow lot on entry if the main lot is already full!On the whole, it was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Excellent exhibits of tanks, uniforms, metals, and many other WWI, WWII, and Vietnam War memorabilia. The gardens outside are worth walking through, and the farm-themed playground is fun for kids, especially over 5. Highly recommend!

We attended the Blooze Brothers concert on the lawn. The facilities were beautiful with great sound system and plenty of food trucks to satisfy all your snacking needs. Parking was easy to locate and not far at all from the lawn and bathrooms were indoors - not portable pottys that I usually see at outdoor events. Loved it and I'll be looking for more to attend.

This is a fantastic museum that honors the 1st Infantry Division. There are interactive exhibits, displays of personal items actually carried by soldiers, mockups of key battles, and, of course, tanks. Tanks are everywhere, and they are not roped off or anything. There are Congressional Medal of Honor recipients honored throughout the museum, too. Take your time to read the bios of these incredible soldiers and try to imagine the courage it took to perform the way they did.I am a veteran myself (25th ID), and I found this museum to be very moving. I feel like they truly and deeply respect the service of those who serve and who have served. All in all, a fitting tribute that honors the traditions held sacred by soldiers. There would be more pictures, but I would rather urge you to go see for yourself. It is worth a visit.
