The First Division Museum at Cantigny in Wheaton, IL presents the story of the U.S. Army’s First Infantry Division. Through immersive exhibits from World War I to today, outdoor armored vehicles in Tank Park, and powerful artifacts, the museum brings military history to life.
What a cool place to walk and explore! You can touch several different tanks as you stroll. The museum is full of memorabilia and facts about the wars/history. They also have some bent steel from the World Trade Center tragedy. Definitely a great place to check out.

One of the best military museums anywhere. My dad took us as kids, and it made a huge impression on me. It’s a treasure.
