“If you’re into bourbon/whiskey and hunting good store picks don’t sleep on Malloy’s Finest Liquors (580 Roosevelt Rd, Glen Ellyn). I swung by after a less-than-stellar computer repair day but left feeling like I hit the mother lode.
What makes this place a gem:
🔸 Absolutely stacked bourbon selection some bottles and single-barrel picks I’ve never even seen before
🔸 Met “Bob” super helpful, knowledgeable, and generous enough to pour a sample of an RD-1 Single Barrel (117 proof) before I even bought it. That sealed the deal.
🔸 Great vibe kind of old-school Vegas-meets-bourbon-den, with barrel-tops on the wall and a cozy event/raffle area in front
🔸 The kind of place that doesn’t feel like chain-store booze shopping it feels personal, curated, and real
🔸 Friendly, transparent staff who will help you pick out a bottle, tell you about their raffle/club/programs, and treat you like they want your return business
I walked out with two bottles and I’ll absolutely go out of my way to hit Malloy’s again on future bourbon-hunting runs. If you appreciate unique, top-shelf bourbons and a store that treats whiskey like an event instead of a commodity this place is a don’t-miss.”
“The co-owner was working and I hate I don’t remember her name but she was very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of allocated and unique bottles. The only hang up is that the special bottles are secondary prices that’s not a knock it’s just reality. I’ll be going back.”

“Prestige was very helpful in making our reception a success. They dropped off the alcohol early in the morning and picked up the remaining unopened alcohol after the reception. Their communication was timely and direct, and they helped customize our drink list to what guests generally prefer. They were also timely in providing us a refund for the unopened alcohol. “Bourbon whiskies = high secondary pricing BUT others like vodka & tequila you can come across a super low price. It's the burbs, whiskey Bourbons are popular in their neck of the woods and yeah some people love over paying their Buffalo trace products (smh), but not me. Dont expect to see well priced gems in the whiskey section. But don't sleep on other spirits because I found some to be super low priced which made me give it a positive rating. I say check it out if you want to look for other spirits other than whiskey”
“Great customer service. My husband and I always get Half Acre Big Hugs beer around this time of year. A lot of places were out. I called NBC Liquor, and although they did not have it in stock, he was able to call someone and have it there the next day! I was super impressed with that level of service. They also have very fair prices!! I 100% recommended NBC Liquor!”

“Great little shop. Stag is generally friendly. They learn their regulars and always treat everyone well. Not the best beer selection but if you want something harder they have many choices. Some more common things like beer and cigarettes are pricey but the liquors are competitive and they have a lot of it. Small store; very well laid out. Open late. Closes at the village cut-off.”
