“As an avid lover of reading I love a small bookstore. This book store was cute, clean, and well organized. But what put it over the stop was the staff. The older lady (Nancy? ) is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. So nice and polite and had that feeling of home to her. Even tho I live a hour away I’m sure I’ll be back”
“I like this store. There used to be one closer to me, but it closed. I found a book I had been looking for, and a few others too. The prices are decent (compared to the Schaumburg location) and you pay Lake Co. taxes. I want to go back and get one book I decided to leave behind. The guy at the counter was polite enough. I wish they had a way you could look up stock like a library, because it can be hard to know whether you've missed something, but it's worth a trip.”
“It's great to have a bookstore inside Woodfield Mall. I learned when shopping there that Barbara's Bookstore is actually a family owned business, not some major corporate conglomerate. It's quite a nice size for being in the mall. They have a good selection on all genres. You can find new releases here along with some old favorites. They also have a bargain book section in the back. They utilize their space quite nicely. Everywhere you turn, there are books! I love it! Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. You can also join their rewards program and get discounts for books you purchase, just by being in the program! For an independent store, you can find a lot of discounts/deals. It's nice to see because I would rather invest in a locally owned shop.”

“I love this marketplace. There is so much to see so much to buy I go bananas agh.I love eating a udon soup. I get all the bargains I can find and if I have time I go shopping for some souvenirs. I love to sample free food and drinks that might be offering. The is a chocolate shop and a fancy cake shop too is like going to Japan without flight. Mitsuwa is the closes am going to get to Japan. You can also visit the liquor department too many sakes to chose from. The fish is so fresh as well as the meat. There is something for everyone here young and old. You like anime you can find it here too. I will come back and spend more time”

“Great place for teachers to come and get anything they may need for their classroom. There's also a section for toys for children. Many things are pricy, however, but very good quality. They also had a sale when I went and I got a free tote bag for signing up for texts.”

The store is organized neat and clean. Many of the books are preowned, but have been well kept and gently used. The prices are very reasonable.I found the John Steinbeck title that I was looking for, East of Eden, but not in the edition I wanted. However, the price was exceptionally good and I could not pass it up.Recommended.”
“Thankful I had the opportunity to stop in at this beautiful independent bookstore, located right on the outside of Chicago. Barbar's Bookstore hosted an author event for Porsha Williams "Pursuit of Porsha" novel. From my first experience, to actually having the opportunity to meet Ms. Williams at the store, I had an amazing professional, kind and friendly interactions with both the team members at the bookstore as well as with Ms. William's team.Pursuit of Porsha, did not disappoint. The book was heartfelt, well written and enduring. Ms. William's Did an amazing job of taking the reader on a journey and a journey and explaining the how's and why's along the way. For the past few years or more, I have seen her on a wide media scale and it was very connecting to read about the journey getting there and who she is and was as a person before the person we would grow to learn to know. I highly recommend taking time to let this author into your world. Read she is kind and has an amazing story to share.”

“When a bookstore is more than just books, you venture into novelty gift shop territory and that can cheapen places like this. Fortunately Kinokuniya strikes a good balance of attracting new business while still selling books and in this case, Japanese literature. There's all sorts of Japanese books, manga, and magazines here. There's Japanese paper craft, candles, incense, puzzles, plushies, and so much more. It's delightful to peruse all the goodies in this shop.”
“Had an amazing experience here at Go. This is the best toys and games store I have ever been. They have all the toys and games that we need for our kids at home and even for gifts at parties. Their staff are so knowledgeable with the items they are selling. If you have something to ask they can actually explain to you the purpose of each of every items they have. So that you can pick the best items you want. You can easily find all the things you need because their store is so organized, clean, bright, and well-sorted. Also you can checkout so quickly because their cashiers are working so fast. Their location is so easy to find and they are one of the most visited store in the Woodfield Mall. They are also near to other well-known stores there, so you can find their easily once you visit other stores around. Highly recommend this Go store to all of you, for you to also shop and visit their store. Also buy some of their amazing items. They also have calendars that perfect for our houses. So get some time and visit their store, I am sure that you will be satisfied and amazed too. I will go back there again when I am going to buy some toys and games again. “I've lived in the area all my life and use to go to the barnes in the mall. That Barnes was cluttered and hard to navigate. This new one is beautifuly organized and free flowing. The staff are friendly and put a smile on my face breath of fresh air. This is the best corporate book store you can go to in the area. Wide selection of books and a great vinyl selection. Happy I went and checked it out. Whomever runs this store kudos”
