“This is the best full service butcher in the area. For Christmas Eve we got a 10lb 4 bone-in standing rib roast. The meat was beautiful. The preparation was incredible. Perfect trimming of the fat. The bones were cut away from the meat and tied back together. It was incredible!!! For Christmas we got a 7lb beef tenderloin. Incredible. It was prepared with a thin layer of fat around the meat. Covered in foil. And properly tied up. It was incredible as well. Reagan's also has THE BEST skirt steaks. As well as great hamburgers. And Tri-Tip!!!! I love this place! Thank you!!!”

“My wife decided that we would use the Kababs that her dad would get for special occasions during a family meal. We drove out to prospect heights from Antioch and got 4 each of the beef and chicken kababs. They were VERY pleasant and helpful. Lovely folks. The kababs were the BOMB! I grilled them per the instructions given by the people at ascot and they were tender and delicious. Definitely will visit again. Highly recommended.”

Sometimes, it can be hard to get a hold of someone on the phone. They also got rid of a lot of the processed meat selection that used to be available.Note: their Sunday hours are now 10 am to 5 pm.”

“This place is the best! I needed 18 chickens (yes 18!) of similar weight and size for a rotisserie bbq event. I requested and happily received exactly what I needed. The quality of the chickens was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the store has a wonderful vibe. These folks are serious about great food. Cannot wait until I get try some other dishes, quite especially their greek marinaded lamp chops! No disappointments here!”

“Love this location took me one hour to get here on bus from Skokie but was completely worth it. Only went for the food court on the second floor! I orders myself spicy pork, that was delicious got it with great side of fish cakes and kimchi. I did not know what the third side was but it was ok. The place is big and the staff was great! Also will not hurt your wallet like some Chicago location that charger like 20 dollars plus for spicy pork.”

“I used to get steaks from Costco, but with a few trips to wildfire, it becomes my only place to get steak and lamb.At first, I was a little worried because everything is frozen, but man, it it fresh after thaw. “My friend asked me to bring some fresh meat from chicago so I googled a bit and stopped by this place. It is preety decent, they had good fresh meat chicken. Cashier helped in finding goat keema, kidney, liver and goat legs for paya and also regular goat meat for curry. The service was good and ambience was great and tidy. I was don’t that smell in meat shop but here there is no meat smell. Good maintenance and also cashier was also explaining me how fresh was their meat. He was saying they get the delivery right from poultry every evening. It is good if they maintain the quality.”

“Amazing authentic Mexican food. I spent a lot of time in my early years in Texas. When we moved to midwest, we couldn’t find any authentic Mexican food. Get the rojo pork tamales, either at the hot food section or the cold food in the fridge. They taste like homemade with perfect spiciness. Love it! Even the tamales served at the nearby Mexican restaurant, close to Jimenez couldn’t make delicious juicy and spicy tamales. I ordered Quisado Puerco at the taqueria, simply delicious and comforting. Huge portion, you can have 3 servings out of this giant portion. I’m still in disbelief that authentic Mexican food can be found here in the grocery store taqueria. A pack of 6 hot tamales at the hot food section is $7.99 and the same exact 6 cold tamales at the fridge section is $6.99. The tamales were so juicy and full of meat. Couldn’t be happier to find this hidden gem.”
