“Had a great experience in the activity area. We were at loose ends at the end of the day and the play area was too loud and busy for them. We just went to check out the toy store and found the activity area and kept them busy and happy till the mall closed. They were so excited to see a live axolotl and watch the snake being fed. The owner helped my youngest figure out the marble run and oldest had great time with nerf launcher and Turning Toy. If you are looking for a good place to keep bored kids occupied that's not the screaming madhouse the mall player was is, I would highly recommend.”

“My nephew Enzo is visiting from California to spend his 14th Birthday in Chicago. We attended the Lego Convention then we went to Woodfield to search for a specific set but couldn’t find it there. The wonderful Manager at Woodfield called the Northbrook location and we were able to order the set my Nephew Enzo was looking for. We arrived at the Lego Store in Northbrook and felt very Welcomed by the staff:Mery, Elizabeth and Cameron made my nephew’s day. “This is the second time I’ve ordered from this store & both experiences exceeded expectations! The first time, I was looking for a specific product. It was shown on their website, but currently out of stock (in the middle of the supply chain issues). I called to check when/if it would be back in stock and their communication was stellar! They let me know that it had been ordered and kept me apprised of subsequent delays.The second time I ordered (today), I was given the option of free local delivery as one of the shipping methods. “This place is a dream come true for some children and adults! There are dozens and dozens of different sets at this location. I saw sets I've never even heard of, like the "Friends" where the lego characters look more realistic, and there there was "Ninjago" which looks absolutely stunning with all the detail!Customer service was very good here too. They were very knowledgeable about all of the product sets and even told us they put them together as well, I didn't even know that was a thing. We were allowed to touch some of the display items behind the plexiglass, they have a special TV that when you hold us a set it shows you what it looks like, although this TV wasn't working while we visited.Since we visited during the holiday shopping season there was a line to get into the store, I am not sure if there's a line any other time, however, the line guiding retractable strips had lego characters so it was a bit fancier than a temporary setup.I was a bit surprised that they didn't have any deals for Christmas, since Legos are a bit expensive I would have thought they would have had some kind of special deal. Then again, since they have lines to get in they probably don't need to have a special draw for customers.We bought a couple of Minecraft sets on our visit and a small hollow Lego box. I didn't think the small box was good idea until I realized that we can keep the smallest of pieces in there for safe keeping. :-)”

“Great local place to find books ? of several subjects and genres! Apart from the books, you can find souvenirs, accessories, etc. Starbucks coffee is another attraction along with deserts, cookies, etc. Very please environment. Friendly staff members. I would definitely recommend this place! A+”

“My family and I went to buy some loose Pokemon cards that my sons were interested in. The cards that they wanted were very random and consisted of Pokemon using all different energies as well as Trainers. The owner Jester was there and he was extremely helpful, helping us find over 30 of the cards that they were looking through by going through binders and loose cards in a box, which was extremely tedious. We've been to many Gamers Worlds where the employees running the store seem like they couldn't care less about their customers. We were fortunate to have the exact opposite experience here and want to thank Jester so much for his kindness and patience!”
