“This is a rave review for Masters and their employees. Before we engaged Masters to update our bathrooms, we had lived through two bathroom renovations and two kitchen renovations in other houses, and we knew that updates involve noise, mess, stress, and surprises. With Masters, thanks to Jennifer, Sandra, Sasha, and Zeljko, there was no noise, mess, or stress. Jennifer guided the design and had a great eye for color, while Sandra kept us in the loop on admin stuff, and Sasha came by to check on things. All of that is great, but it’s the day-in-day-out stuff that really drives you around the bend with updates, and that’s where Zeljko worked his magic. Every morning, he’d appear, lay cloths to protect the floor, and disappear into the bathroom. Occasionally we’d hear some noise, but not often. He made polite suggestions along the way that made the end result more functional and attractive. Of course, nothing can guarantee there won’t be surprises, because old houses are full of them, but the folks at Masters handled them quickly, quietly, and professionally. They are the zen masters of renovation.”

“We used Kitchen and Bath Mart in the early 90's for kitchen remodeling in our first home and we were extremely happy with the results. So when it came time to update our kitchen, down stairs bath and master bath in our second home we went once again to Kitchen and Bath Mart in Niles. Working with George was a pleasure, he was very knowledgeable on all levels of the project.
Because of the multitude of choices available it is hard to decide what we wanted, George help guide us by offering options using drawings and examples at their nicely appointed show room.
The project went as planned, in the time frame they proposed. The installation crew consisted of a husband and wife team, Kris and Joann who did a fantastic job, they are truly artists at what they do. They were clean, organized and friendly. As in any major project there were a couple unexpected things that popped up, they were worked around the problems with professional results.
We highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Mart and would use them again.”

Case in point -- my most recent order was delivered to me in a damaged and partially opened box, with some of the component pieces missing. A call to customer service (Alex, Abby and Amanda) resolved the issue by sending me the replacement components ASAP. Well done!
Update: One of the parts that I ordered from The Faucet Shoppe was defective. Customer Service did a terrific job (again) at resolving the matter to my satisfaction. Bravo (again) to the team.”

“The AKB team is just top-notch. In late 2020, they redesigned two bathrooms and a kitchen for me. The end results were incredible! They were fun to work with, supportive along the entire process from design, manufacturing, and installation. And when there were elements involved that they did not sell (fixtures, appliances, etc.) they helped with referrals to others in the area that they had great working relationships with.I sold the condo they helped me re-design earlier this year, and I miss it everyday! After struggling with design impasses for several years, we were fortunate to meet Anne Dempsey of DDK. She listened well and was very pleasant to work with and extremely effective helping us navigate successful compromises. She offered suggestions and guidance including the pros and cons of various options but always left final decisions to us. Once design and cabinetry were agreed, Anne remained just a phone call or e-mail away for support as we shopped for countertop, flooring, fixtures, and hardware, and even did house calls when we solicited her opinion. She set us up well with builder ED Enterprises, and our project finished on time. The builders were capable, timely, quiet, polite, good with our young puppy, and vacuumed the site at the end of each work day! A few minor post completion issues were satisfactorily resolved. Overall we highly recommend both DDK and especially Anne, as well as ED Enterprises.”
“Great selection (mostly online but decent in-store), great service, speedy delivery. Sarah in sales was super responsive. I started my renovation project at Studio 41 near Merchandise Mart (near my job) and in Lincolnwood (near nothing) and while the team in Lincolnwood was MUCH nicer than the folks on Hubbard (it wouldn't take much) there wasn't nearly the responsiveness and pricing transparency that I got at Ferguson. I was initially very overwhelmed by by master bath rehab- Sarah was easy to work with and worked well with my contractor to replace a Kohler tub that arrived with minor damage. Totally a 5 star experience”
