On another note, I want to mention that yesterday I brought my car in for a FEW repairs. I told Aviv that I needed the car in an hour and a half. My car was ready within the hour. “From the moment I first stepped into this establishment, I realized how excellent their customer care & professionalism is. They listened to my concerns about the symptoms of my vehicle’s transmission and exhaust and other mechanical problems and was able to diagnose and offer a fix/ resolution. Their entire staff: Nomie, Umair, Diego, Khurram & Saqib provided peace of mind and excellent auto repair. Nomie is well known within the car community and is known as an incredible mechanical engineer. I drove more than 1.5 hours in traffic and it was well worth it. Nomie fixed my problematic transmission driveshaft issue and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Also repaired an exhaust issue. After he repaired everything, my car drove much smoother and more efficiently and is back to great health. They’re able to order parts and have a quick turn around time as well as have fair pricing. August 2024. Part 2 of my review. My car had a major breakdown. All of the above still applies. It would not surprise me if the collective, professional experience here exceeds 100 years. “Lucas Tire & Auto is great! They were open first thing in the morning—unlike other tire shops in the area—and quickly showed me the issue with my rim. They ordered the replacement right away and even gave my tire a temporary fix so I could get through a couple of days safely. Once the new rim arrived, they installed it and everything has been perfect since. I also really appreciate their veterans discount. Hernan keeps you updated throughout the whole process and is very professional. Recommend!”

“Third time here and will continue coming back.. i thought I needed 4 tires and front and back brakes... they said I only needed front tires and rear brakes.. i have come in twice with a nail in each of the remaining old tires and each time they patched it for $25 and didn't try to sell me another tire. So when im now getting an oil change and the tire patched and they tell me I need an engine / oil flush i trust them 🙃 and am having them do it. All this is great but its actually the convenience that is the best part. I just show up when i need to with no appointment and they start the work right away... Last time I went home while they did the work but had to turn back around because it was ready 5 minutes after I got home so now I just wait in the waiting room... thanks jiffy lube!!”
“Tino always comes through! Heat in car not working. He diagnosed, ordered the parts snd fixed in on a Sunday morning. All at a reasonable cost.
A couple months ago my car was sideswiped. Body shops gave me estimates of 1400 and 800. Tino knew there was no major damage or repair, cleaned the scuff marks and it was looking new.
We love Main & Crawford in Evanston. Convenient, reasonable and HONEST.”

He not only explained in a non-technical fashion what was wrong with my Toyota Hybrid car, but he offered various options to me, discussing all advantages and disadvantages. “Back in 2004 this place wasn't so cool, the employees were rude and almost forced you to get what they deemed necessary right then and there. Fast forward 21yrs (yeesh) and this place is still here and doing well. The entire team is friendly and helpful, and I ended up spending less than I thought I would! I love this place. 5mins from my house so it's very convenient to get to. Got an oil change and topped the coolant off, plus they filled my tires with more air if needed. 25-30mins later I'm omw home safe and sound. Amazing team here, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Got an oil change again at the same place on Harlem and Diversey, and their service was quick and easy just like last time I went. Everyone was friendly and professional. Took about 30mins for the oil change. Love this place, will keep comin back for oil changes”

“I had an audi a3 2015 try to fix my heater, while i took the car everywhere nobody had a solution to my car. I was a bit disappointed so i saw this location from reviews i took my car there as last hope. Mike (the owner) he was very professional and helpful guy. He helped me understand what was going on with my car and fixed it for me without any hesitation. The price was absolutely fare i believe he only charged me for the parts that he changed in the car. “So far so good! José was super responsive & helpful when I got a flat driving down my alley. Called and inquired about price and they gave me the total upfront which, from my experience, is rare in Chicago. I needed a specialty tire asap and they were able to get it next day and had my car ready. Super painless process, it would’ve been same day if I didn’t need the specialty tire (called car dealership and they said 1 day to get tire as well). Hopefully no more flats but if I do I’ll be coming back here. Highly recommend if you want/need a no-fuss easy & quick solution for tires.”
